Emma Watson feels shy around fans

Emma Watson struggles to cope with her fame as she becomes "a bit shy" when fans recognise her.

The 22 year old became well-known as a pre-teen when she landed the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, but Watson admits she feels nervous when she is spotted in public.

In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "It's been 10 years but I still feel so uncomfortable with being recognised. Just a bit shy I suppose.

"I wish I had camouflaging powers like a superhero. That would be so helpful. Except for with kids, they are usually shyer than me so I don't feel so bad."
