Damian Lewis' young co-star was discovered via social media

Damian Lewis' on-screen daughter in U.K TV show Wolf Hall was discovered through Facebook.com.

Producers of the small screen adaptation of Hilary Mantel's novel took to social media to issue a last minute appeal for a child with red, curly hair to play Henry VII's young daughter, who would eventually become Elizabeth I.

Eventually Abi Ward was recommend for the part after a friend saw the plea on Facebook.com, and within days the youngster was acting opposite Lewis.

Wolf Hall recently became the most watched drama in 13 years on Britain's BBC2 channel, averaging 4.4 million viewers a week.
