Courteney Cox breaks wrist on vacation

Actress Courteney Cox has cut short a summer vacation in Mexico after reportedly breaking her wrist.

The former Friends star, 49, was holidaying with friends in Cancun when she slipped and fell on Saturday (10Aug13).

According to TMZ.com, doctors were called to her hotel room to fit her with a cast and Cox later decided to board a private jet to head back home to Los Angeles, where she is expected to consult her own physicians about the injury.

It is not yet known if the actress will require surgery.
