Chloe Grace Moretz will bring The Little Mermaid to life in a new version of the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale.
The Kick-Ass star has revealed she'll be playing the leading role in British filmmaker Richard Curtis' new film - a live-action version of the story produced by Universal.
Announcing the news on Instagram.com on Friday (06Nov15), she wrote, "Here it is!! I've been waiting months to tell everyone how excited I am to take on this beautiful journey with Working Title, Universal, and a beautiful script by Richard Curtis... #TheLittleMermaid!!!! Here we go!!!."
