Miss Teen USA Cassidy Wolf is at the center of a FBI investigation involving a set of nude photos.
Authorities at the federal agency are looking into Facebook.com threats the 19 year old reportedly received earlier this year (13), demanding money to keep the pictures, allegedly taken on her webcam, private.
She tells Today.com, “I wasn’t aware that somebody was watching me (on my webcam). The light (on the camera) didn’t even go on, so I had no idea.”
Wolf, who was crowned Miss Teen USA at the weekend (10Aug13), plans to use her platform to educate young girls and women about the dangers of cyberspace.
She says, "This all happened before I had a title. I was just a normal girl in high school. This next year I’m just so excited to be able to share my story and raise awareness in young teens about what can happen."
