Director Bryan Singer has become a first-time father after welcoming a son with his best friend Michelle Clunie.
The X-Men director announced their baby's arrival on Twitter.com by posting an image showing the newborn lying on Clunie's chest on a hospital bed while Singer crouches besides them in scrubs and plastic cap.
He writes, "Michelle Clunie and I would like to welcome our beautiful son Dashiell Julius William Clunie-Singer into the world."
The 49 year old has been close friends with the Queer as Folk actress for 25 years and they will reportedly raise the child together.
