The rapper...
Foxy Brown cast her legal woes aside on Wednesday night (17Sep10) to deliver a surprise performance at a runway show during New York Fashion Week.
The rapper, real name Inga Marchand, is facing up to one year in jail if found guilty of criminal contempt after allegedly violating a court order related to a 2007 confrontation with a New York neighbor.
She pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanour charge last Friday (10Sep10) - but made light of her legal issues when she rocked the runway at Jamison Ernest's Incubator fashion show, even giving a shout out to her lawyer over the microphone.
Brown stunned the crowd as she strutted down the catwalk in a skin-tight mini dress to perform her hits, during which she publicly thanked hip-hop mogul and Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons "for signing me and starting my career".
The star stands accused of becoming involved in a heated argument with her neighbor Arlene Raymond before baring her butt at her earlier this year (10).
