The owner of a sound effects library is suing bosses at Sony Music Entertainment for allegedly using his work on a Britney Spears song without paying for it.
Kirk Rothrum, who runs Banging-beats.com, claims staff at the record label lifted the sound of female moaning seductively for use on Spears' 2007 single Piece of Me and he was never paid.
He has filed a lawsuit against the music executives in a bid to receive a pay cheque for his contribution, according to TMZ.com.
