Brendan Fraser lands TV series

Brendan Fraser is heading to TV to tackle the role of a secret agent in a new drama series from the makers of Homeland.

The Mummy star will play an undercover operative with the ability to transform himself for every job in new small screen series Legends, which has been put together by Homeland executive producer Howard Gordon and writer Alexander Cary.

The show is based on the book of the same name by spy novelist Robert Littell.

Brendan Fraser will also act as executive producer on the drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
