Actress Beth Behrs is nursing a minor hand injury after cutting herself while preparing food.
The 2 Broke Girls star was trying to remove the pit from an avocado when she accidentally sliced her hand open.
She tells late night host Jimmy Fallon, "As I was trying to cut the pit out, I was thinking to myself, 'Wow this is really dangerous', and literally as I thought the word dangerous, I sliced. I was home alone, tried to call all these people on a Saturday morning, nobody answers their phones... Finally my lovely business manager picked up her phone, she came and got me and I went to the emergency room.
"I had never had stitches before, (I was) very nervous. I had told the doctor I had never had stitches before and he said, 'That's so crazy because I've never done stitches before', and I said, 'You seem lovely, however, I would like someone (that has done the procedure before)'... He kind of let me go on for a few minutes and he was joking."
