But the couple's spokesperson has dismissed the reports, claiming the pair swapped jets for "security" purposes rather than for personal issues.
Price took to her Twitter.com page to confirm she was flying separately from her former nemesis, writing, "Taking off. People saying Victoria on flight. This is not true."
The Beckhams flew out of Heathrow airport several hours later, reportedly catching the same flight as Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole.
