British actress Anna Friel has signed on to join the all-star cast of Ridley Scott's new TV drama The Vatican.
The Land of the Lost star will play the party girl sister of a New York cardinal, portrayed by Kyle Chandler.
The thriller also features The Watchmen star Matthew Goode and Sebastian Koch, while Swiss actor Bruno Ganz will portray the Pope in the series.
Ridley Scott will make his TV directing debut on the pilot.
