Could you guys record an entire album on something so small like the BlackBerry Playbook or is that
Yeah, man, I mean the stuff it sounds really good. You wouldn't you wouldn't know the difference. It's a kind of amazing nowadays how good the stuff sounds.
I'm so excited to be sitting here on this tree stump with the Bravery. Hello, gentlemen.
Hey, hello.
Kinsey sandwich. I'm very excited about this. You guys actually recorded your first album on a computer, Right and Solo. How was that process?
Um, it was really ghetto. This is, and this was like 2004, so this is like pre-Garage Band.
Would you guys record an entire album on something so small like the BlackBerry Playbook or is that
Yeah, man. I mean, the stuff, it sounds really good. You wouldn't, you wouldn't know the difference. It's a kind of amazing nowadays how good the stuff sounds.
And I have to ask, I read on Wikipedia, is this one of the Wikipedia myths, the infamous lies that are spread on there that you are the first band on MySpace?
We were definitely like one of the first 10.
Wow.
I mean, at the time we could not find another band on MySpace.
Wow. That's pretty awesome. Does Tom does Tom send you Christmas cards?
He does, he invites us to over for Christmas dinner.
Tweeting the dates is my life. Do you do it on a BlackBerry tablet?
I do do it on my BlackBerry Playbook on the regular updating right now with the Bravery. You're in love. Maybe you could convert.
Well, how do I tweet you? Or how do I Oh my gosh, would you
I'm gonna I'm gonna show you how to tweet me. Um, well, you can you can log on right here with the browser. You just go to the old twitter. com. Okay. And then you could just @ @younghollywood or @kseyschofield. And then you and I can communicate on a regular basis. I can be like, "Miss you so much it hurts." And you're like, "Hey girl, hey."
All right. First of all, I'm a total nerd. Loved the Twilight series. You're on the Twilight soundtrack and I was super excited about that. Then I turned my TV on and you're on No Strings Attached. What is it like or the yeah, the No Strings Attached movie trailer. How is it like to be pop culture icon?
I think that, um, one way things are very different now than they used to be is that it used to be you just heard about music from the radio. Right. And now all these other, uh, mediums have taken the place of radio. You you know if you're a starting out band, I think you've just got to use the use the internet. Yeah. Just go crazy on there.
Do your girls throw themselves at you when you're on tour?
Uh, it's happened. You know, you know, you know, casually. I remember one time we were in a limo and this like 14-year-old girl, we drove past her and she started freaking out. And then she turns to her friend and she goes, "Oh, what band is this?" And then they told her she's like, "Oh, it's a great band." I think she was just exciting that it was a band.
