Rehearsing for Jay Leno

Hey Young Hollywood, it's Aaron McCarley and you are here at the studio where we're rehearsing for Jay Leno tomorrow.

How did you react when you first found out that you're gonna be on the Jay Leno show?

Well, we all watch it when we're little and just see entertainers going in and out of the show and me, I always, you know, it's a dream to do. So.

Can you explain a little bit how you describe your sound?

I usually say alternative pop. Cuz it's not really pop rock and it's not just rock or just pop. It has like splashes of other things.

The album released this year and so far, how do you like the response that you've had?

That's been really sweet to see that, you know. And then fans as well just started to pop up and and tell me their stories and how it coincides with mine and it it's just cool to see that connection.

Love save the Anty, the song. I know that there's a little bit of a story behind that.

It's filling different voids that we all have and so it's kind of about a lot of parentless kids and lack of role model that people have and don't have.

Now, you did a music video for um you're just not into you. What was the concept? Did it tie into the movie?

Save the Anty. Save the Anty. The director of the video saw a picture of what we were using for the um the album cover, which is me by the bathtub. And he's like, "Oh my gosh, I would love to find just a loft that had kind of that same scene, you sitting there." And it's kind of like me after a bad date, you know, and then it's kind of like, "I can't find the right one."

Your music is being played on some very popular shows. It's on One Tree Hill, 90210.

It's shocking to see your song just playing through with all these huge actors, you know, just on the screen at the same time. I'm like, "Is this really happening?"

Do you have any rituals that you do before you going to perform a set?

None that I want to say on camera.
