What up young Hollywood? We're here at Cascade's Pop-up shop for his performance at uh, LA Convention Center.

While I'm here in LA, I figured the least I could do is set up this shop for a moment. Let people come by and check out merch. Um, we've got the Tokidoki stuff here, Imperial Motion stuff here, collaborated with these guys on this stuff. What else? Beach towels. I go to the beach a lot, so I said we should make beach towels. So Cascade beach towels.

So, he's playing at the LA Convention Center and you're the first DJ to play at the Convention Center. Is this, is this true?

First mu- First music show. The show. Okay. Not even dance, they've never had music there. This is the first thing. It's like boats and car shows and like, I don't know, what else they do there? Like knitting shows? Like.

Science, probably, they probably like science fair and stuff.

Science fairs, I don't know. They do really big things there. They're well you're RV, RV shows. There we go.

Okay, okay, okay. And so you put uh the tickets sales out in one hour?

I did. People crazy.

There there can we get can we still get the tickets?

If you want to pay a lot of money, I'm sure there's a scalpers out there somewhere who will sell you tickets.

How many people are attending?

Uh, it's 20,000 the night of the show and then I've got a kind of a pre, a warm-up show, the Redo Show is on Friday night for 4,000 people at the Palladium. And then I'm playing the after show.

Can't make any of those. None of those are fitting your schedule.

I got an after show for you.

I'll be at the after show. It's the Exchange. There it is. 100%. Okay. Cool, you're like a 3:00 a. m. guy. You're like. That's one thing. I don't think I'll be able to get into this 20,000.

I know a guy. I know a guy. I'll get you up in there. On this, this was just shot in a club that had a really cool wall. And I thought, oh man, I should do a photo shoot in front of this wall. I really love the way it looks. Because it kinda looks like it's wet. And that's not processed or anything, it just has that, the wall has that look so I thought, oh it'd be cool to do a photo in front of it.

You're one of the first DJs, US DJs to actually have a residency in Vegas.

I was. I was. That's crazy thing now. It's it's like EDM Town or something. That's what happens there. They renamed it Electronic Music Town.

Right. They don't call it Vegas anymore.

Uh, yeah, in um, 2010 I started with the Wynn. Uh, and they were still very much like, hey, we think this electronic music thing is going to work. Would you come play our club and do a residency? And it was a massive success and it kind of spun into this huge thing that it is now. Coachella 2015. I was, that was an outtake from the atmosphere uh photo cover uh shoot. Did make it. It's a beautiful show, uh photo, but I I thought I'd share that.

Tell us what we can look forward to for the show at the Convention Center. Is it going to be what type of set Cascad's at?

Uh, full on audio assault.

Okay. With my music and. Flames?

Flames for sure, dude.

Really? Flames. In the Convention Center?

Power flames. I got flames. Okay. I got cryo, I got flames, I got paper.

You told me I rolled, it has to be like a certain atmosphere for like or certain thing for the flames certain

Uh, yeah, I'm sure there's some regulation and I'm sure the fire marshall will be there like, wait, Cascade, isn't that the dude who caused the riot? Hold on one second. He's gonna like dial that up in his memory and be like maybe no flames or he might make the flames shorter. We'll see. I'm gonna have a I'll have a chat with them.

And do you do you feel like LA is I know you're you're from Chicago, right? Yep. But do you feel like LA has like a there it's like a home for you as well?

This is my home.

Um, yeah, I love it here. I mean, I've been living here for I don't know, since 2010. So, yeah, this is my home now.
