Okay, so you're on a global tour right now. You were just in Vegas?
I was actually in so many places like, cuz someone just asked me where I was or you come from. And the last week in US I was in um Cancun, Austin, um Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Vancouver, Vegas, San Bernardino in the last week. But So I start on Wednesday, you know.
You have said online that you like to make your own schedule. You like to be in charge of it. Is that still true?
Um, half true. I would say that uh yes, I I like to be involved, you know. But sometimes it's just like I feel a lot of pressure because every country has their own demands. Yeah. And I feel that I have to be there, you know, delivering all the demands that they need. So sometimes it's just like it's tough for me, you know. Uh to be conquering every country because in the end of the day, if you're big in some country, it doesn't mean that you're going to be big in the other one. You know, and you have to fight a lot, so I feel this pressure. And I try to build up the schedule but the agenda but I'm always like involved what what's going on in the place. I have to be in those place in the right moments as well. So I have to do that depends. Yeah.
And on this global tour, so far, what has been the craziest city for you or what city are you looking forward?
At this one? Yeah. The craziest city. I went already to all those place beforehand so it's not something new for me. Um you know to to be honest with you, the days that I don't even know where I am. I wake up with a different kind of and it's jet lag and time zones different. And I don't really had time to enjoy the place. I was just enjoying the hotel. I could say what's the best hotel. The room service is great. The room service. I really like the room service here in LA cuz I feel that the menu here is way more healthier. other places in in US so I would say that it was good. And I also liked a lot the the the food that I had at in Cancun. We love Mexico. Uh yeah. Mexico's fun. Yeah. You know, I was thinking about where I wanted to be based in US for like to spend like three months every year. And I was thinking about Miami cuz it has a straight flight to Cancun. Easy flight. But now here I heard that also has a direct flight to Cancun so.
Or Cabo. Go to Cabo. Do you like Cabo?
Yeah. Exactly. We love Mexico. Yeah, so I'm thinking actually to move on to LA. Because I feel that here you guys breathe uh art, you know, entertainment, music, everything. Very very big. That's why you're here now, Young Hollywood. Breathing entertainment. That's just everything. Yeah, I love this atmosphere.
Okay, so you have your own little family. Does your family travel with you? When you go on these tours and stuff?
Every time I spend more than one month, I bring them with me. Yeah. At least like for one week. But this tour was just impossible cuz I was in as I said five different countries the last three weeks so it would be a mess.
That's a lot going on.
Yeah. And um and I miss them so much. Honestly, I'm living at this moment I'm homesick.
I bet. I mean, you travel a lot.
And last week I was just like I didn't want to continue. I just wanted to go back home. But my home nowadays is airplanes and hotels. So you are home. Exactly. You're technically home. But for me it's tough cuz I have uh I have two kids. Yeah. Adorable, by the way. One was born in January 2020. And my daughter was born in um December 2020. Yeah, we heard back to back. 10 months and a half of difference only cuz my daughter was born premature. But it's a real life change in such a short period. And I was very grateful to be with them for like um the whole pandemic so I could be at home and stuff. And I was saying all the time that I was going to have kind of more balanced life. You know. But as I said, it's always half true. You know, you bounce. I'm trying to but as I said, like these demands all over the globe, just I feel so much the pressure. I have to be here and doing this. And the the reason why it gives me, you know, like strange to keep here is cuz I know also that I'm I'm giving them a very good quality of life. For sure. You know. Yeah.
And do they listen to your songs? Do you play them for them?
Wow, they are fanatic about my songs. But I promise you that I don't put the songs for them to be listen. I don't know what happens. Like yesterday my wife posted a video where they were saying like, play the song hello hello, which is a song it was my song, you know. Yeah. They just And I don't know why this happens. It's just They just get it. They just know. You know, I think maybe it has something related with Baby Shark cuz it's like electronic vibes. Yeah, yeah. You know, like So they really like Baby Shark. They don't like They used to like Baby Shark, not anymore. But as But they got this electronic kind of vibes, you know. Yeah. And I as I said, I promise I don't put them to listen to my songs.
They have good taste. Your kids have good taste.
There you go. Yeah. Yeah. They just know.
