I am here with. They have just you've just flown in and basically invited us into your hotel room. Thank you for being so welcoming to Young Hollywood. Of course. So you were just in Miami. You were singing you did the James Blake bootleg. Right. So, can you explain to me the difference between a remix and a bootleg?

EDM Duo Cazzette

I feel like a remix you're asked by the label or the artist and you get like the full uh different parts of the song, like you get the a capella, like vocals only, you get the drums, you get everything by itself, you know, so you can actually like it's a lot easier to yeah, and it's a lot easier to work with. A bootleg is like, I love this song, I'm gonna do a remix of it but I have no permission.

Young Hollywood

So you're a badass.

EDM Duo Cazzette

Well, kinda thug. Bootleg, basically. It's like I'm not even I'm not getting permission. I'm just going in and I'm doing.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, but if you do a good job, people seem to appreciate it. So it's tougher to do it. It's tougher to do a bootleg.

EDM Duo Cazzette

It is, yeah. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Okay, so you guys truly are sleepless. You guys have been traveling like crazy and you have a show in a couple of hours. How do you guys get yourselves up for a show?

EDM Duo Cazzette

I would say that we we pretty much like maybe before a show like tops we play some good song before and just like like we'll play something ridiculous like Ghostbusters or What? Or uh yeah. Yeah, and we just play because it's fun and it makes you want to, you know, you feel a little bit more energetic afterwards, because it makes you happy and feel good and then it's also loud, so you have to wake up.

Young Hollywood

How do you guys choose because like the Sharks and Kong song, I love, and I love the sort of tropical element to it. How do you guys sort of find because you don't you're not necessarily genre specific.

EDM Duo Cazzette

I mean if we find like an a capella online or you know anything like a a drum loop, something that we like, we just go with it. It could be anything. As long as as you know, we get a groove out of it, we like it.

Young Hollywood

Tell me one thing about the other that your fans don't know.

EDM Duo Cazzette

He's always when you uh say something like, "Hey, let's go and grab breakfast." He always look at look at me and he says, "What?" And then it takes five seconds, I I learned that I have to wait because he actually heard what I said. He's just too lazy to answer right away.

Young Hollywood

Are you a Gemini? What? Are you a Gemini? You just did it. People know that you love like looking at uh puppies, right? I don't know if that was too private. I'm sorry, I just I that's the only thing I could think about. Tell me one thing that's better about Sweden than the US and one thing that's better in the US than it is in Sweden.

EDM Duo Cazzette

Healthcare system, schools. Um, well, at least it's probably you're from Canada. I totally get what you're saying about that. Yeah. But we really love the US though. Like we're so grateful that we get to tour here and and it's like it's such an amazing country in so many ways. What we're doing, we're touring so much, we're flying. The the airport system here and it's more accessible and um it's it's, you know, you can do so many shows in in America. What can you do in Sweden? You can like drive two hours get to like a Yeah, like a farmer and play like in front of horses and something. It's just like I don't know.

Young Hollywood

Goal, like where would you love to see yourselves three years from now?

EDM Duo Cazzette

There's many Swedish artists that are just that are just crazy good and that would be fun to just make like release songs we made with them and, you know, maybe gets huge and then take them up to the stage and you know, make their career big as well and just help each other out. I think that would be that would be nice.

Young Hollywood

And so what's the um just to go out, what's the Ghostbusters bootleg going to sound like?

EDM Duo Cazzette

It's going to be mind-blowing.
