Young Hollywood

You're a walking brand. I mean, the jacket. Look at this. This episode of Young Hollywood is brought to you by BlackBerry. Our South by Southwest coverage continues with the greatest documentary filmmaker of all time, Morgan Spurlock, and the greatest producer of all time, Jeremy Chalnick, the greatest movie that was ever sold. Palm Wonderful presents the greatest movie ever sold. Can't forget that. It's all about that, right? All about the above the title sponsorship at this point. You don't say Center, you go to Staple Center. You're a walking brand. I mean, the jacket. Look at this. But this, you know, listen, these are the people that made the greatest movie possible. These are the greatest brands you could ever have. These are the greatest companies to be in business with. So the whole film, you're all about pitching brands. So I'm sure you have the pitch of the film down pat now.

Morgan Spurlock

I do.

Young Hollywood

15 seconds, people that don't know what the film is. Let's hear the pitch.

Morgan Spurlock

I'm making a film all about product placement marketing and advertising, and the whole film will be paid for and made possible by product placement marketing and advertising.

Young Hollywood

Brilliant. That is brilliant. So you've taught me a lot. The film actually inspired me in a lot of things. So there are three things, I'm totally changing my whole business now. I actually I brought my global brand strategist here to to help. So we need to get you in here, Tracy. Okay, well, first, Okay, first, yeah, we got to have our product placement for the hats. Oh, he's the man. What do we get for wearing?

Morgan Spurlock

We're going to work on that. We're going to negotiate. That's step one.

Young Hollywood

Now, two, step one. We've actually changed it. So we used to just have a cube. Now, a branded cube. Oh, look at that. How clever is that? We learned that from you. And what a coincidence. Look what I actually happen to use every day. Wow. And the third thing, which I bet you haven't seen. How cool is this? No one's ever seen this. Oh, this is the new BlackBerry tablet. The BlackBerry. You're joking the wrong way then. These are the experts. The BlackBerry tablet. You see it. Oh, look. This episode of Young Hollywood is brought to you by BlackBerry. My God, it's so light and so easy to use. Have you ever felt anything that's so easy to use?

Jeremy Chilnick

South by Southwest. Best festival ever to come to with a movie. Why? It's the same thing that made the music festival so good. It was people who were passionate about music. It didn't mean anything else. It's not because, you know, I want to make a million dollars because you have to play music and you have to hear music. Same thing about the movies. It's like if you have to make movies and that's what your lifeblood is. These are people who want to see them.

Young Hollywood

And you saw it Sundance. How was it different? The the audience reaction at Sundance to to South by.

Jeremy Chilnick

You know, it's like Morgans had Sundance, it's a very industry crowd. Everybody who comes to Sundance is not from Sundance. Everybody who comes to Park City, Utah, nobody is from Park City, Utah. You know, when you're at Austin, you feel like in South by Southwest, you feel like you're interacting with people that you're actually making the film for. You're acting with audience who want to see the film. And it is, and it's a very different dynamic. And it is like Morgan said, it's electric.
