So I'm here hanging out with Adrian Grenier. We're on the Vice Land bus at South by Southwest. We are in the coolest city on the planet, Austin, Texas.

Adrian Grenier

It's fresh. It's fresh. I I love it here. In fact, I this is my eighth South by.

Young Hollywood

Seriously? I was gonna say I know you've been here a bunch of times, but I didn't realize I love it so much that I actually got myself a little apartment here. So when you come back to Austin every year for South by like what's like your go-to? You barbecue, you Mexican food, like what's your staple you have to have?

Adrian Grenier

I mean, I could have tacos for breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack. Yes. And between meals like I so it's definitely a lot of taco eating. It's fresh.

Young Hollywood

For sure. Or to tacos or where do you just mix it up?

Adrian Grenier

You mix it up. It's basically if you're hungry, you just look and then you get a taco and it just kind of comes into your mouth. There are tacos everywhere. Like you just walk on the street and they're just like handing them to you. It's they are, it's true. More tacos per capita than anywhere in the world. I don't know if that's true, but it feels true.

Young Hollywood

claim that, is that an actual fact? It might be. We don't know. So, I want to do a little, you're gonna give us a little tour of this bus because there's a lot of stuff going on in here. So, what's happening here?

Adrian Grenier

Well, you you know what these are, obviously, right? I mean, I'm assuming They're 3D. Oh, wow. Look at you. You're in 3D. We should get that. Oh my God, you're still in 3D. Apparently, I am just horrible at 3D. There you go. See? Okay. Okay. We're gonna do this. This is just how it's going to work for me. The whole world is in 3D, suddenly. How did I just this was the first thing I saw when I walked on on here and I was like Guys, I I want to believe this is here as a lesson to not kill innocent animals. Hunting is lame. And I know we're in Texas and all, but Stop it.

Young Hollywood

Is this real? Oh, man. Um yeah, let let's talk about that for a second. Oh, yes me. Can we one up this? Um I don't know. Perhaps, but hold on. I'm My dog jaw. Feel that. Was that our photo booth moment? Do we at least capture that on photo on the photo booth? I really was worried. I was worried about you for a second. I'm like what happened? One thing I've learned about gifts is you have to think about what you're gonna do before we're gonna jip this. All right. Okay. I think I should just We do the dog jaw. Okay, three, two, you gotta touch me yet. That's kind of awesome. That is genius. That is the best photo booth moment. #dogjaw # Genius #overuse of word genius. Wait, so this dog jaw thing like where did that come from? It's a joke that you've had for a long time. It's like a it's like an uh like a dad joke.

Adrian Grenier

I got a couple.

Young Hollywood

Okay. I felt like it kind of was a dad joke.

Adrian Grenier

I got a I got a repertoire of dad joke.

Young Hollywood

Okay, let's hear another one.

Adrian Grenier

Uh, two muffins are in the oven. One muffin leans over to the other and says, "Hey, is it getting hot in here?" The other muffin says, "A talking muffin." You guys get it.

Young Hollywood

I I don't understand anything. You're you're passionate about the oceans first of all. So that's concert, you know, ocean conservation. No sucking. So explain what that means.

Adrian Grenier

Yes. Yes. Stop sucking. I hope I don't listen. All of you out there stop sucking. I know you do. Hashtag stop sucking. No, seriously, we started a campaign, #stopsucking. And we're focusing on single-use plastic straws because we use too many of them. 500 million every day. A big percentage of those bleed out into the ocean, contributing to the 10 million tons of plastic that we put into the ocean every day. And at this rate, if we don't stop sucking and other things, uh we're gonna end up having um more more plastic in the ocean than fish in about 25 years.

Young Hollywood

I mean, but like people don't realize like little things like a straw can just like affect so many other the ecosystem just everything. You know?

Adrian Grenier

Well, I I like to think, you know, as our population increases, our opportunity for solutions increase because there are as many solutions as there are people. So all of that brain power, all that energy, all that imagination, if we can't heal ourselves, if we can't fix our future, it's a failure of our own imagination. Because we're not able to aspire to something better than what it is.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. I'm so inspired by this guy right now. I gotta say. Well, thank you so much for this awesome tour and being in Austin with us and stop sucking everyone because he doesn't suck. I can tell you that. I hope I don't suck either, but you know. No straws for me ever again.
