Yo, what's up, baby? How are you doing? I'm Noah and I'm from USA.
We're in the USA with Now United. There's 14 of you guys, 12 today, but you represent 14 different countries. And you guys have the title of the world's first global pop group. How does it feel? That is a big title.
It's actually pretty insane. It's a it's a huge honor, you know, this is the first time it's ever been done before and uh, you know, Simon he's he's crazy, always thinking of these new awesome ideas and we're very honored and proud to be in this group.
And I just want to clarify, you guys are talking about Simon Fuller.
Simon Fuller, yes.
Created the Spice Girls, American Idol, a lot of cool projects.
Yeah.
So for the people watching, we're obviously in a super cool space, center staging. And you guys have a cool story about this. This is where you guys first came together to audition for this group, right?
Yes.
So whenever you're here, there are just tons of memories and I see you guys over there getting excited. Talk to me about it, about this space.
We met here the first time and we had like the our first boot camp was crazy like. There was so much going on. We had to train every day for like six hours. We still do that, but so many memories. Yeah, this place like it just gives me insane to be honest.
No. Are you feeling anxious right now in this interview?
Honestly, a little bit.
Oh no.
It's like all black walls and it's like it's so serious and everything.
Yeah, so the audition was like it was super competitive and super like focused 24/7. And yeah, obviously, I was super stressed. And this place just reminds me of all that, so.
It's kind of like our second home though, cuz we're here so much. We always talk about like, oh, I cannot wait to be back at the Rexon of Dance Studio and be United again, you know? This is like where we all come together. It's nice.
And there's so many of you guys. So I want to ask like, how do you guys keep each other motivated and maybe keep you calm. What do you guys do to like help each other out?
I feel like if if one of us are feeling down, like we kind of just try to lift each other up as much as possible. Cuz we all have those days where you're just like, I'm so tired. I just want to take a nap, but you know, you got rehearsal and photo shoot and I want to do a fun interview like this. You know, Sweet talker over here. But, you know, we all just try to bring each other up whenever we're feeling low.
Yeah, I think cuz we've spent so much time together now, we've realized like the special things that everybody like has. Like, for example, if someone is down, some of them need to like chill out and stay away and listen to music. But some of them need a hug and some need like, yeah. So we just we figured out each other and it's like brought us together more as a family.
Yeah. That's so special too, just because it is such a large group that you guys can bond that way and just know that like you said that, oh, this person needs a hug instead of music, you know? That's really special. Yeah. I love that. And I do want to touch on your guys' YouTube show, the Now United show. That is so cool. I want to you're welcome. Um, I want to know if you guys could have any celebrity or musician or artist to be featured on an episode. Who would it be and who what would you make them do?
I want CNCO to be in the Now United show. Please.
Oh, you were just tweeting about them recently, yeah? Okay, I saw that.
So yesterday I went to their concert and I was like crazy. Yeah, I love them so much, so, if you're watching this, please be with us in the Now United show.
Maybe like Blackpink and BTS, all the cool K-Pop groups. I would love to meet them and we can do like fun games with them. And we just came back with episode uh season two for Now United. Actually like we just released our first episode a couple days ago. So it would be amazing if season two can have some cool celebrities over and like it would be
Yeah. I would watch that for sure. Go check it out. It's my favorite episode.
Yeah.
Yep.
Have you guys met BTS yet?
No, not yet. Not yet. Soon. Soon. Hopefully. We'll see. Never know. You never know.
So you guys have also been on really cool shows like So You Think You Can Dance and The Late Late Show with James Corden. What's your favorite part about live performing? That's a massive stage.
I have something to say about So You Think You Can Dance, actually. Simon, he created So You Think You Can Dance, and I grew up watching So You Think You Can Dance. And that's actually the reason I started dancing and becoming a performer in the first place. So, when we got to perform on that stage, it was like, I don't even know. It's it's I can't even explain the experience. It's like a dream come true, right? It's totally. And I think that's one of the greatest experience I'll ever have. It was amazing.
I just feel like uh since growing up, it's just I always feel like here, like the stage, the lights is always the coolest. Like it always felt the beat, or, you know, it just give you a vibe of another world. Performing on like stage like that, it's just like really enjoyable. You just feel like you're not on Earth anymore.
I like how you described that. That's cool. Thank you. And you guys have clearly been to so many different types of countries, which is amazing. And food obviously surrounds a lot of that, right? So, is there like a weird thing or favorite thing from any country, where where did you go?
Uh, well, when they came to the Philippines, a few of them tried balut, which is the fetus of a duck. And uh, Yeah, it didn't really go well for some of them.
I actually tried it twice. Um, it was not terrible. Um, it's definitely not my uh cup of tea. But it was like it had different textures in it and you could like see it was, yeah.
Um, yeah, I also tried twice. The first version was like a fried version, I think, and that wasn't like terrible and completely like, I can't, I can't do that. But the second time I tried it, it was like so hard and chewy. And the the taste was like ah it was just terrible. I didn't like it at all. I'm so sorry.
But you guys are going back to the Philippines soon, right?
Yes. Yeah. That's exciting. Yeah. So excited.
You guys are so funny. It's like sometimes you guys are all just feral children. All of a sudden I'll say something and you're just like losing your minds. I love it, I love it. Oh, what was that little dance move? I don't even know. There you go. So touch. Okay. Last but not least, um you guys are clearly very close. So I want to put you on blast a little bit. If you guys can pick out someone and it's just like maybe like a little weird thing that someone does or like favorite thing about somebody. Or who's the funniest or just like something so that we get to know you better.
Okay. Well, Christian likes to do this thing a lot. He's like, Oh, yeah. I don't know what that means. But it's really cute when he does it. He's just
Basically, this is like what I do a lot is just that's so sexy.
