You had your photoshoot today for the new album. Which is called?

The Go To Be Harry Home.

Nice, that's an exclusive right there. You're known for tracks like "Hush", which is a great single and your lyrics are amazing. Like butterflies have knives cutting up my insides. I should have that lyric tattooed on me.

You do?

That sounds like a very deep lyric. Can I ask where that came from or?

Uh, a boy.

Must have been a very bad boy to leave you with lyrics like that.

Yeah. He was good in bed.

Okay, he was good in bed, but he was very naughty. So if you're watching.

He totally used to yell, good in bed.

Oh, is that not what you said? Is that what she said? I thought she said that. Good and bad. I thought she said good in bed. I'll leave it at that one.

Butterflies with knives cutting up my insides. It's kind of like the anticipation that's like, it's like killing you so much that it's like, you have these butterflies but at the same time it's like so painful.

And Automatic Loveletter sounds like we're on the story of a relationship.

Automatic Loveletter comes from uh, my lyrics which uh, you know, reading them, they sound like love letters or love notes and they're love songs essentially. I started singing when I was two, three. I was singing to Disney movies.

Who did you listen to growing up apart from Disney?

I grew up listening to The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan. That was like the first stuff I started listening to and then I got a little bit older and got into like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, like Pearl Jam, all those bands.

And what's in store why you're here in LA?

We've been here shooting a video. Really for tour. And that's with A Cursive Memory. We're Yeah, we're out with A Cursive Memory, uh, Friday Night Boys and Tickle Me Pink. We started touring with A Cursive Memory about a year ago.

You're smiling like there's some stories on that tour.

Like this one time we were driving down the interstate and we saw them. We started throwing food at each other and like coffee cups, anything we could get our hands on, like cheese, like Cheez Whiz, like on those like pink duck fluffy things and just just smacking them to the windows and stuff. Anyways, we got pulled over and the cop thought we were like fighting. Like we were like mad at each other and he was like, "Alright, alright, what's what's the brawl? What's going on here?" We got off because the cop was like, "Well, what band are you in?" And we were like, "Uh, Automatic Loveletter." And he's like, "Automatic Loveletter." He called his like 12-year-old sister and he was like, "Do you know a band, Automatic Loveletter?" And she's like, "Oh my God, yes!" And then he's like totally let us off.
