Well, when I was on tour with Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj, one of the things Nicki would, you know, say to me and pull me aside was always after my set, she'd be like, "Yo, you killed it, you know, I love that you just do you." And um, it sounds so simple, but it's it's really valuable information. It's like, you have to do you, you have to be yourself and and um, just trust your instincts and stay true to yourself as an artist. So that was really valuable advice. We don't care with no one understands. No one understands. Welcome to my Young Hollywood Backstage diary. I'm Eden and I'm going to give you a sneak peek of today's rehearsal. Let's go.

So, today I'm rehearsing for a couple shows. Tomorrow I'm leaving. I'm on the Red Eye to New York City and a couple other various cities. So we're just getting ready to rehearse. It's fun because we're going to run numbers that I haven't even performed yet. She was like. I was. I was like. I was like having sex on stage. Oh, that's like love of this. Okay, this will be our one practice to run. Yeah, my taste in fashion. I love fashion so much and my tastes often um change and evolve and I I get into like phases where I'm really into something for a long time. Kind of like music where you play the same song over and over again and then you're like, okay, now I'm over it.

I'm on to something else. But right now I'm kind of in this like preppy like K-pop um meets Rockabilly vibe. So, I'm getting ready to play some Holiday radio shows that I'm very excited about. So today we're getting the wardrobe together for those couple of shows and I want to keep the clothes kind of like, you know, really festive without being too costume. This is a piece that I really, really like, this jacket. It's kind of kind of amazing and the back's mesh. It's cool. This is a little trick for everyone at home that I learned if you roll your if you push your sleeves up like if you're wearing a long shirt or a jacket, it just instantly makes you look slimmer.

I suppose is the word because you always want to show your wrists. It's a stylish trick. Right? Can I dance in this jacket? I think so. Gold, Flex. Um, yeah. I first started writing poems at a really young age and I guess I didn't realize that they were songs at the time, but slowly I would take the poems and we had a piano in our house and I would, you know, come up with little melodies and I didn't really realize I was a songwriter until later in life, um, when I was 16 and I came to Hollywood, to Young Hollywood. So there's a lyric in Too Cool to Dance where I say, you know, I'm always looking fly, never wear the same outfit twice.

Just to clarify, it's it's a tongue and cheek lyric, like it's meant to be like, wink wink, like, I'm not being serious. I don't condone wearing something and then never wearing it again. That's stupid. Like, let's be serious. But it's just to set up the idea that it's boring in the VIP and just to sort of like shine a light on how there's all these rules and pressures on us. But really, we should just throw all that out the window. Wear whatever we want and not be too cool to dance. So drop crotch pants are a must because they do several things for you.

You have to be careful though, that they're not too drop crotch because otherwise you'll get like dumpy booty and that just doesn't look good on anyone. You can shake your ass and not worry about your butt cheeks falling out. Unless you like that sort of thing. Like I said earlier, I don't I don't mind a booty short, but some days you're just feeling a drop crotch over your butt hanging out. No, well this whole like twerking craze, whatever. When I was on the Femme Fatale tour, a couple years ago, we had a whole section where it was all about this stuff and anyway, everyone's doing it now, so I'm moving on to different moves.

I'm not too cool to booty shake, but I just pick and choose my booty shake and now I do them in drop crotch pants. Yeah, now now I booty shake responsibly. Hey, what's up Young Hollywood? I'm Eden and this is my Young Hollywood Backstage diary.
