RJ here. So our Coachella adventure is coming to an end, but we can't leave without hanging out with the lovely Erykah Badu. How you doing?

I'm exquisite. Peace.

Let's talk about this weather though. It was pretty darn hot this weekend. Now it's finally a nice little breeze.

We in the desert. So, the desert let us know where we were. It was it was really hot. But it was really good though.

What did you do to to keep yourself cool while you're out here?

Drank a lot of water. Uh wore very light clothing. Hung around really cool people.

Oh, pretty pretty cool stuff you got going on here. What are some of the details. We got the Africa over here.

These are just things that aesthetically I'm attracted to, that I like.

And what about the the bird we have going on here? You know what this is. It's a dove. It's a dove. What does it symbolize? To you, what does it symbolize?

A dove is like free. All that peace. Peace. Yeah. That's nice.

All right, then the the stuff we have on the hands. That's henna.

This we just came back from um Dubai and they uh gave us henna. They adorn us in

Oh look at that. Yeah. You have the cool thing going on with the nail polish too. You got all the multi-colors. You got it all done up underneath the foot. I've never seen that before though. Yeah. Actually I mean that turned out really pretty. Wow. Wow. That is serious. That's all the way to there. Very very nice. And now we're here at the the House of Hype and we got the the Oasis Peach Club and you were just on stage. How how'd it go, kid?

Uh we had to cut my set short a little bit, but I didn't mind at all. I enjoyed all the DJs today. And I'm just happy to, you know, have been invited. This is my first time at Coachella. And um I love Los Angeles. There's it's a beautiful uh tribe of people. And I feel uh like we're distant relatives.

And you actually performed at Coachella as well this year. What was the experience?

It was it was real good. It felt real good.

And what do you what do you think sets Coachella apart? What makes it unique from some of the other festivals out there?

Uh I don't know, too soon to say, I'm not done.

Are you done? Well, we're pretty tired. We've been here a couple days. You're still going strong. I like it.

Yeah, one more night. And and then we'll see. I've I've done a few festivals. I travel 8 months out of the year for the past 14 years. So.

Wow. And where's home for you now? You're traveling so much.

Um Dallas, Texas. I've always lived in Dallas, Texas. I was just in Dallas. Four generations.

Young Hollywood was there for the Super Bowl. That weather was brutal though. Were you down there at all with the snow?

Oh, yeah. Woo. Oh, yeah. I DJ'd with D-Nice that weekend. Nice.

It was cool. And and last thing, I mean, it's you know, when we just like asking people, I'm I'm curious what your answer. If you had to to sum up Erykah Badu in one word. What do you think that word would be?

Evolving.

I like that. If you had to sum up yourself, RJ, in one word. What would it be? What would it be?

Versatile.

Versatile. Okay. I dig that. I dig that. We got the evolving. We got the versatile. What about you, cameraman?

Evolving is pretty good. Um
