Ariana Grande is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained prominence for her powerful four-octave vocal range and her ability to blend pop, R&B, and hip-hop influences in her music. Grande’s career began on Broadway at age 15 before she was cast as Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon series Victorious (2010-2013) and its spin-off Sam & Cat (2013-2014). She signed with Republic Records in 2011, releasing her debut album, Yours Truly, in 2013.
