What's up guys? It's Michelle Marie with Young Hollywood inviting you to water.
We're here with Robert Ori.
We're here at the Super Bowl Miami, isn't it gorgeous out here?
Uh, it's the best place to be right now.
The weather's great.
Uh-huh.
People great.
This is a fantastic time.
What's going on with Robert Ori right now?
Right now, Robert Ori is just in the process of opening up a sports bar in Houston, Texas.
I live in Houston, make my home here.
So I'm not from there, but I live there.
I love the city.
So.
Right now, I'm just opening up a sports bar.
I want to be like Sam from uh Cheers.
Everybody's going to come to your bar, of course.
Exactly.
How do you feel about the Lakers and of course Kobe actually breaking that record?
I tell people all the time, of course, how is it to play with Kobe Bryant?
Kobe Bryant is probably one of the best basketball players you ever going to see outside of Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon.
But the thing that made Kobe so great, he's a hard worker.
And I hope kids are watching and learn that you can't get anywhere unless you put in the work, the time and the effort.
And that's what Kobe does.
He puts in a lot of time, a lot of effort.
People don't know that.
But he's always the first in the gym and the last to leave.
You know he is the best player in the game right now.
Very good again.
Well, I have to say, just watching you, like you're such a clutch player.
What is it that you have to have to be clutch?
Because everyone like knows when they hear Ori, it's a clutch player.
You have to have my shot.
I don't know.
No, you just have to be have confidence.
You know, confidence is the key.
I tell people all the time, Sam Cassell is a great point guard, but he didn't get that confidence until he won the first championship against New York.
And once you got that confidence and believe in yourself, no one can stop you.
And what was the best thing about working for Phil?
Yeah, he respected me.
Never yelled at me.
Cuz he believed that I knew the game, understood the game, and he said, just go out there and play and do your thing, young fella and and and and win us some games.
You think they're going to make it to the the championship this year again?
Yeah, no doubt.
You know.
Who's going to win it?
The West the West is strong, but right now the Lakers are are strongest team in the West, even though their bench not as strong as it used to be.
Because they lost to Lou, but I think they're going to be fine.
If you could just sum it up, what's the best part about being a basketball player?
The travel and the ability to meet people, you know, I if I wasn't a basketball player, I'd probably be outside the ropes trying to get into EA party.
Well you're in this time.
Exactly.
What's up Young Hollywood?

Seven time NBA champion.
I just want to say what's up.
