Steph Curry, Dwyane Wade, & NBA Legends Love Donovan Mitchell

Donovan. Donovan Mitchell. Everybody is talking about Mr. Donovan Mitchell. Donovan has probably been the best rookie this year. I know exactly who he is, and he's actually gotten better. He was great then, but he's definitely got better. And uh I think he might might edge it out at the end. He's have he's having a great year, too. He's having a great year. That other kid got got a different kind of engine that goes. He's one of my favorite rookies. He's going to do really great. And I'm just really excited for him. I'm really impressed with what he's doing. Uh not just scoring the ball, but how he's leading that team in a tough Western conference. So, um he's he's doing a great job.

Hopefully, he'll continue that. You like his shoes? He wears my shoes, so I love him. He's got it. He just has the flash, he's got the character. He's got the game on the court everybody loves. He's just picking up so much momentum. Nobody saw it coming, and then he's just here. And not only is he here, but when you listen to his teammates and coach Snyder talk about him, I mean, there's such great respect for him. This guy, I think he should be rookie of the year. I love the kid. He has a bright future. He reminds me of Dwayne Wade. He's a man on the basketball floor. He may be a kid in the NBA, but he's a man on that court. Man, he gets it.

You know, some players come along and they're special. Big in heart, big in talent, and uh no fear. No fear. Guy who clearly makes his team better, makes his makes his players around him better. Guy who can, you know, basically do it all. He can shoot the ball, he can handle. Um he can jump, rebound. So, he's been really good for the Utah Jazz. It's great to play against him as a competitor, but to watch him from afar and see him do it night after night after night. Like, what rookie wall? He's not hitting it. It's kind of rolled it. Nobody would expect right away. You know what I mean?

Gordon Hayward left and went to the Celtics and he had an opportunity as a rookie to come in and have Grab. He's taking full advantage of it. I just think it's his drive and just the way he he just plays with a relentless effort and energy every night. I like the way he's carved out a a name out for himself. So, I don't like to compare people to to guys of the past that are that are doing amazing things in their own right. If you're going to put my name with anybody, I am okay with you putting it with a kid that plays the game with that much heart.
