What's up, guys? Leslie Roberts here for Young Hollywood, coming to you from the NBA All-Star Game. It's happening today and here are the gorgeous gold rings. You never know who's gonna walk in any second. It's just like go-time, like you better be rolling. You better be speeding. Devin, tell me what a basketball means to you.

This ball means a lot to me because I had to go to the US Supreme Court in order to play in the NBA because I was an under- first under-aged person.

Take me back to when you won the championship as an LA Laker. Take me back to that celebration.

That celebration was awesome because not only that, but where is he coming? He's He's so slow. Magic is way back there. He likes to talk. He's socializing. But yeah, we had a great time. I just was with uh Kareem this morning. Magic and uh, I was with Norm Nixon the night before. All of our teammates and we- I can't tell you that, but we having a get-together in the Bahamas.

I'm very appreciative of it. I try to stop for every kid, most adults. And, uh, you know, just give back. If you can make a person's day, uh we got- I have a great opportunity to be of service. That's really what we get to be.

Yeah. And how are you feeling being at the All-Star game today?

I feel kind of amazing. This is my fifth event this weekend.

Yeah. Fifth event and the vibe was just the dunk district yesterday, so I'm right there with you. It's been an All-Star weekend. It seems like you might want to interview this person, so I'm giving your mic back.

Well, the beginning of the beginning of the All-Star game is actually going to sound like this. All right, I'm giving my mic back too. Let's go.

Basketball give me give me give me the ball. We're getting the balls all over the place. Growing up, I was a big basketball player. So, you know, just being able to get the chance to see the best players in the world, uh, competing against one another and uh having some fun as well. You know, just showing us their skills.

So, Gary, you are a champion. You are an All-Star. Your son is a champion. Tell me the ingredients to making a champion. To making an All-Star.

You know what? I think it's about a hard, grit work. I think my son is just one of them guys where you know he got the genetics and he took it. You know what I'm saying? But it's just hard working. I think I think and then you got to just take your talent and move it bigger and bigger and more and more.

You know this ball pretty well. Apparently, it it needs air, but I hope you're not offended by that.

No, it's all good. That mean I can just do it better. No ways. You know what I'm saying? So

So what does that ball mean to you?

It means my history. This is where my life started. This little round ball right here. You know what I'm saying? Everybody wouldn't know me if they didn't know about this round ball and me putting it through them hoops and running down the court with it. So this is what made my life. This is my life right here. This ball right here.

You got anything you can show me on the blue carpet with that ball right here? Maybe a dribble?

Haven't seen you since you went to LA for a while. Good to see you, man. You look good. Have you gone into uh fashion now?

Uh, I have not.

You should. You should. Cuz he's got it going on. Did you always have such good style when you were playing or this came about kind of afterwords?

No, no. No, I did not have good style and and this isn't even I can't even take credit for this. Uh, so this is kind of somebody helping me assemble it. Shout out shout out to my wife who chose this whole outfit.
