Hey Young Hollywood and Yahoo Sports, it's Michelle Marie here with Kevin Love, a new Minnesota Timber Wolf.
But you were on the UCLA Bruins and you led your team to the Final Four.
Now you're on the cover of EA Sports NCAAAO9.
How does it feel to be a cover boy so far?
Oh, it feels great.
Well, just representing UCLA and, you know, Dream Come True.
Yeah, and, you know, I just had my birthday a couple of days ago and this like a late birthday present for me and
It's a big change for you this year now you are a NBA rookie.
I think, uh, the challenges is definitely going to be adjusting to, uh, shot clock.
The tempo is going to be a lot different with that 11 seconds off the clock.
You also are traveling so much and you play 41 games away.
So, you know, I've never really lived out of a suitcase before.
So, what kind of fears or nervousness do you have so far?
Uh, definitely about the rookie hazing that I've heard, you know, from a lot of veterans that, you know, whatever they say just do it 'cause you only got one year of it.
I'm not the type of guy that just wants to, you know, sit back and you know, and chill out, not have to carry bags or get the newspaper, donuts, coffee in the morning, but yeah, I'm going to have to do what they say.
What are you going to miss the most from UCLA?
Just the whole experience of on and off the court, but definitely the camaraderie and chemistry I have with my teammates, also the coaches.
How is the chemistry so far with Kevin McHale, coach Kevin?
He's been great so far.
Actually, you know, grew up watching him when they played the Showtime Lakers and he's been a great influence on my game so far and I'm just looking forward to working with him.
You guys played any one-on-one yet?
Uh, no, he's got a little bit of a hurt ankle a little bit, but hopefully, you know, keep rehabbing that and, you know, we'll get out there playing against each other, but that'd be a blessing to go against a legend.
What about any big man notes?
Has he shared anything with you so far?
Yeah, a lot.
Protecting the ball.
Um, you know, different hook shot moves, what to do fadeaway, where to position myself on the block and also defensively as well because, you know, he's one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
So, how good are you at games?
Is this one of your favorite games?
Oh, it is one of my favorite games.
After practice, we get a game in before we go eat.
Um, on the road we bring our Xbox and PlayStation 3 with us so we could play.
And, uh, you know, I've been playing for a long time.
I don't know if you're up for the challenge.
I might be able to beat you with this.
I don't know.
I don't think you I don't think you got me.
I don't think you playing enough, so.
You got a gamer here.
Hey, what's up?
This is Kevin Love with Young Hollywood and Yahoo Sports.
I just want to tell you guys to check out EA Sports NCAABasketball O9.
