NBA All-Stars Pick Their Dream 3-Point Contest

Hey, I'm Bonnie Gel Laflin here for Young Hollywood, and we're here at NBA All-Star, and we're gonna be catching up with the guys. So check it out.

This experience was great for me. Uh, really enjoyed the whole time. Um, had a lot of fun, learned a lot. Uh, competed, uh but also had, had a lot of fun, so it it was it was great. I mean, I wanna get a trophy on Saturday. Uh Saturday night next year. Uh that's my goal. Whether it's in this or three-point maybe even dunk contest, something something like that. No, I'm just playing.

Ray Allen, Reggie Miller. No, they started this, you know what I'm saying? Just showing how important the three-point line is and, you know, they both have unique shooting styles, so it showed people that, you know, there's not a certain way to shoot. It's more of confidence and and just believing in yourself and, you know, those two guys, you know, two people I watched very closely.

Oh man, um but you know, I'm I'm from Yeah, I mean from the era when I was younger, there was so many guys that I I looked up to that were great shooters. And some of them aren't around, some of them are still around. But you know, J. J. J. J. Kyle Korver, you know, Obviously Matt Bonner was one of the guys. Steve Novak, um you know, but this we have some great shooters now. All these guys here deserve to be here. Um with the exception of a couple of other guys that could have been here, you know, like Davis Bertans who was shooting 48, and uh a couple of other guys shooting 45, 46. Um but, you know, it it's fun to see, you know, those guys known as, you know, shooters, pure shooters like Kyle Korver, J. J. Redick. If you leave them wide open, it's gonna be a knock down to see them um battle them in a contest. But I think it was a stacked squad this year, you know, um So you have 23 and not making it to the second round, it let's you know how good of a of a shooter the cast it was.

Yeah, this this might be the best field that that there's ever been. You know what I'm saying? Ten ten guys. I think they added two more people this year. They made it ten guys and everybody's a knockdown shooter. Some I mean, some shoot off the dribble, some uh don't, but I mean, it's just everybody's a knockdown shooter and a lot of guys were talking about it like it's it's real competitive. Everybody wanted to win, so um that's what made it fun.

It was amazing, you know, they had a legendary career. Uh they're gonna go in the Hall of Fame one day and I'm happy that I was able to just participate in All-Star game with them, their last All-Star game. It was cool.
