Hey guys, we're hanging out in the Young Hollywood studio with Miles Brown.

What's up y'all? What's up?

How's it going?

Good. Good. How are you doing?

Is it your first time here?

Yeah. It is my first time here. This is crazy. I never knew like this is how it was. I've seen a lot a lot of your stuff so it's it's pretty cool to be here.

Yeah, we like to have fun here.

Yeah. I yeah, I could I could see. I could see.

Yeah. I'm so excited to meet you in person because I just watched the music video to your new song, NBA. You're so good in that music video.

Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, it was it was really fun to uh really fun to film. I mean, I've never, you know, filmed like my own music video before. So it was just a totally different experience than, you know, doing a bunch of like TV or or movies or stuff like that. So it was a really cool experience for me. These were all my ideas. And to it was like being my own director of like a like a short film or whatever. Yeah. It was just really cool and just to have the song that I implemented into a music video and to see that all come out and and and people actually enjoyed it and and listened to it. That was really cool.

And you're what they call in the biz a triple threat. You can sing, you can act, you can dance. You started with dancing though, right? That's kind of how you got into show business.

Yeah, that's pretty much I I started always with dancing. I've pretty much ever since I was like four. My dad's a rapper. So he would to tour all around like all over the world. So he would show me videos of people dancing and professional dancers all over the world dancing to his stuff. And then it just kind of led up to doing like commercials or or cameos in certain movies or or or music videos or whatever. Yeah. And then it kind of just transitioned a little bit into acting. And then I just started doing it more and more and more and more and that then it led up to Blackish and then so many other things. And then music. My dad's also um helping me with that. So it's it's been everything's been super crazy.

That is awesome. And you're a junior reporter too for the NBA, right? So what what does that mean? What does it mean to be a junior reporter?

Well, I'm a I'm part of the Junior NBA which is a is a company that works with the NBA. It's partnered with the NBA and the WNBA. My job is to I get to go to these NBA and WNBA games and I get to interview the players. But I get to interview them like questions the kids would really want to know.

Oh, that's so cool. So not the boring stuff like the, you know, the statistics. How did it feel out there today during the game?

Yeah, yeah. Um so I get to ask them the really cool things like what what music were you listening to? What what was your clothes you were wearing before the game?

Did they recognize you from the show?

So yeah, most most people do it. And it's really cool cuz I like I'm like I'm a big NBA fan. So I always ask them for a picture and they're always Can I ask you for a picture? So it's yeah. It's But it's just super cool getting to know that these NBA players that I look up to all the time, they watch my show and they know who I am, which is really awesome.

And it's such a big show. I see the billboards all over LA. It's so cool.

What's it like to be on this show?

It's just been crazy. I've been doing it since I was like eight years old. It was totally new to me because, you know, I'm not really used to doing these type of things. Yeah. And doing like a full-time TV show which is it's totally new to me. So it's just we had to adjust to everything and it's pretty pretty much like a new lifestyle. So Yeah. It's just super crazy.

What's it like having Anthony Anderson and Tracey Ross as your parents on this show?

They they are so cool and so awesome. They are totally like our second mom and dad. They are always looking out for us. Always making sure we're fine. Making sure that if we need anything, Yeah. Making sure we're always comfortable. I mean, Anthony's always like that cool uncle that always tries to man you up and get you in trouble and stuff like that. But Tracey's always like the caring mom. She's she's super cool.

It's like you have two sets of parents, your real life parents and your TV parents.

Yeah, yeah. And sometimes I I spend more time with my with my TV parents than I do with my actual parents. It's just cool that we have that bond all the time and I I I'm always, you know, with a certain group of people that I know I can love and trust all the time.

Now who's the biggest goofball on set? Do you like to goof off on set?

Oh, yeah. Me and Anthony pretty much. And it's cool cuz, you know, when we're filming late hours or, you know, we're having a long day. He's always that type of guy to, you know, cheer everyone up. Yeah. Yeah, he's really fun.
