This is Beyond the Athlete with Carlos Boozer.

The importance of today's fashion event is for the awareness for the brand, so people can know what loaded doc, swimsuits and resorts, swimwear is. How I got involved with fashion was really just through Jack, you know, my boy Jack McClinton. Who's just my best friend, Boozer travels a lot, and my whole line is about traveling, resort wear. That's what he's about, he loves to travel, he's always on vacations, and he never had nothing to wear, so I reached out to him, like, he was like, man, it's a crazy idea. I'm down. And like that, it happened.

I believed in him, I believed in his idea, and I immediately, you know, got involved as a kind of a silent backer. And now, uh, now it's time to show everybody. This is where you guys come in.

Well, I have a lot of business plans after the NBA. Might do some commentating, might do some coaching. Definitely going to spend a lot of time with my kids, but in the business world, I'm still growing in that in that way. Uh, I really like the fashion world and I'm going to explore more options in that in that venue.

During the offseason, I enjoy my kids, my family, my friends, and keep training, getting ready for the next year. Man, I've evolved so much from my rookie season to my 13th season, learning how to, you know, play in the post, play on the perimeter, how to be a great pro, how to continue to get better and better, how to be a great leader, uh how to push myself beyond my my my comfort zone and um all of that's come with time and experience.
