That's why I wanted to work with him.
Oh, cuz he's glorious?
Yeah, he's a he's a hunk.
He is and by the way, have you seen yourself in HD? Wow, that's cool.
I know. That's nice.
I wanted to discuss graphic novel. Very ironic that you're doing this graphic novel unmute because every time I look at Jake Gyllenhaal, I see cartoon hearts.
Understandable. Understandable.
I know do you too?
Yeah, of course. That's why I wanted to work with them.
Oh, cuz he's glorious?
Yeah, he's a he's a hunk.
He is and by the way, have you seen yourself in HD? Wow, that's cool.
I know. That's nice.
What is that?
This is the this is actually the the Blackberry Playbook. Um but you look pretty magnificent in HD. Um you can also play the all of the the games on the website and everything else. It's it's excellent. Some of them have done an amazing job I think of trying to sort of let everyone know about the film using all avenues, all opportunities. And so they're using new technology and um I also think it's a way of kind of extending the story outside of the film and even before the film, having a kind of say in what you think it might be, then experiencing the film and then ultimately afterwards, kind of influencing what your storyline or tangent off the film could be. I mean, I think that's what's cool about it.
What would you do if you knew you had less than eight minutes to live?
I don't know. I'd make those seconds count. I would call my dad.
With technology, influencing South by Southwest, influencing Source Code, have the two of you ever gotten in trouble? Have you BBM'd the wrong person?
I get I get myself in trouble all the time. I used I use Twitter a lot and um you know, sometimes you know, I I if I'm if I'm talking about stuff I get reminded an awful lot things that I'm not supposed to be talking about and
Oh, right.
Yeah, opinions I'm not supposed to be airing.
But his his Twitter feed is pretty cool though. I mean he has a lot of up-to-date. Would you follow him on Twitter if you were on Twitter?
Uh you know, I I follow I'd follow him wherever he wherever he goes. I I think he's the next generation of great filmmakers.
So next generation.
Yeah, I believe him. He's even he's even farther than Twitter. I think he's actually you know, he knows how to make great film, so.
I think technology is like a an extraordinary thing and I think the only thing that it does sometimes is you get focused on your computer for too long and you don't get to get outside and walk around.
I honestly feel like I'm cooler online. So that's why I stick to the computer.
But you're cooler in real life.
Oh, well thanks. That's nice.
You're welcome.
That's nice. But you're cooler online. Are you? That's something I don't know. I've met you in person and you were cool online but you're pretty cool in person.
He is.
Thank you.
And Jake, you're really cool too.
Thank you. That's very nice.
I can't wait till the cartoon hearts go away. I'm going to have to like I'm going to stumble out the door.
