Dirty Vegas Spreads Some 'Electric Love'

I'm just watching the uh killer ladybug. Yeah, there's a ladybug on your collar. about to attack it. No, seriously. It's about to attack him again. He's gonna attack him again. Kinsey here with Young Hollywood at South by Southwest. I am with Dirty Vegas, which is kind of ironic because I'm looking at you all and you look like gentlemen to me. There's nothing dirty about you.

Well, we are. This this this is a a kind of common as close. We're English gentlemen.

You are English gentlemen and handsome at that.

Well, yeah. Young Hollywood. Acoustic sessions, DJ sets, we're open. Any party will play.

Is this your first time at South by Southwest?

Uh for the band, yeah. Yeah, it is. Yeah.

And are you excited to see anyone specific?

Oh God, there's a massive list we're sitting there. hundreds. Well, God. The girls. What you call the man? Midlake, MDMR, Calvin Harris, James Blake.

But when are you gonna sleep if you're seeing all of these fans?

At about 2:00 a. m. when everybody closes. Yeah.

And where are you performing at South by Southwest?

We're performing uh tomorrow at the W. uh for the arm record party. Uh obviously sort of like a pre-launch for our album. And then uh Saturday we're lucky enough to play the Paris Hilton party.

Right. That's going to be amazing. So two amazing shows. And tell me about your upcoming album. I actually own a fleet of Mitsubishis due to

What do you do more than we do? What can I look forward to this time? Honda's, Suzuki's, BMW's, I I I don't know it's it's it's just for us it's an exciting record. You know, it doesn't sound labels, it's energy, it's tempo, it's it's electronic, it's rock, it's it's everything that we're into and everything that we're about.

Cause you did take a a bit of a sabbatical and I mean, you said that you sincerely miss each other. I mean, what do you do? Why do you love what you do?

You stand in front of people, play music and get paid for it. Right. Come on. Pretty good reason, right? And you get you get they give you free drink as well. Free drink and food. And you get paid.

Are you guys good multitaskers? Are you on the stage like BBMEing and texting and responding to texts? Are you in the zone when you're on stage?

I've been known to do a few things on stage, so that but no, now it's um 100% about the show. That's great. It's on. Who who who actually spent? One we did a gig in Russia and he spent most of the first 20 minutes of the of the set in the bathroom. There's some dodgy fish. Ow. Is a caviar ex in Moscow. That's the direction we're headed with this story.
