I picked up the guitar the first time when I was about two years old, I think. I got like a toy guitar from some of my family friends. I I lived in a really small area and all of the guys seemed to be playing guitar, so I just wanted to pick up a guitar as well, and that's kind of where it started. Hey, Young Hollywood, welcome to my backstage diary. I'm Asgeir. We've done like 300 shows and and usually the thanks where you start, you know, prepping yourself and getting ready for the show, just kind of happen when you come into the venue and and you and you feel the atmosphere, and you feel the venue, and and this place, you know.

And what I must have on tour is are a lot of things, but I would guess my phone and passport would be um, pretty necessary and my computer. And my guitar. And socks, and clothes. Well, I I feel there is difference between playing the states and every other sides of area in the world, actually. So it's, you know, the people just seem kind of more enthusiastic and more into the kind of and and maybe more loud at times, but not like rude loud, but just cheering more and just more open. Iceland is a big part of me and big part of just who I am, and and who I am as a person, and how I think, and and my beliefs, and and everything is connected to where I grew up.

And, you know, it has has had a lot of effect on my music and my influence and inspirations for what I do as well. My first bands were were grunge bands and and metal bands. So, I have the the tattoo here from the album cover. There one was one of the main reasons I guess that I started to have really um big interest in playing guitar and and singing and all that.
