So, I mean, the AMAs, I'm sure you're excited to see so many people. Are you fan girling over anyone in particular or who are you excited about?

Well, I guess, I didn't realize how much I was fan girling over Selena Gomez until I started shaking.

So, I didn't think I was and then you met her?

No, never.

What when you said, you met her. Would you be able, I mean, could you talk?

Hello. That's a good start, right? Good start. That was the one we were. I just like keep going. I was like, hello, it's me. I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet to go over. I'm not going to keep going but yeah. That's what I'll say to her.

Last time you were digging, Zelday, you still digging her?

Oh, I love Zelday. I love Zelday. Um, still love Hozier. Um, I'm getting into Zara Larson. I love Alicia Kara who's here, so yeah.

You dig Sabrina Carpenter?

Thanks guys. I'm excited for you to hear the new stuff. It's something I'm really proud of.

We are here with Daya. Hi Daya, how are you? You look beautiful here. Long time no see. She's look this beautiful outfit, it's twin right here. Tell us, tell us about what you did. How'd you put this together? How'd you come?

Well, I just, I had a really good friend who's like super into fashion and everything and she just like literally ordered everything online that she could find.

That's the way to do it though, right?

Exactly. And then she tried them on, tried them on. This one's the one that like fit the best, so.

I mean there are so many people performing tonight. I'm sure you have to have somebody you're like fan girling over that you're excited to see.

Oh God. Everyone. Um, I'm looking forward to seeing One Direction, Justin Bieber's performance, Selena, Ariana. Basically everyone.

The album is out. Kalin and Myles: Yeah, man it feels so good. The album is out right now. Uh, it feels, it's a crazy feeling. Yeah, no to finally like have that music out and like have everybody, you know, sharing and stuff, it's been uh amazing for sure. Just to see the response.

How did you, how much prep did you guys do to put this together? This outfit, this work, this work right here. Kalin and Myles: We are un-color coordinating this time. We totally did last time. Five minutes. You know what I'm saying? After like, I just got out of church or something. I just looked at something in my closet and then it looked, it looked all right, right? But then I stepped in the sunlight. We soon as we got here and I'm like, wow, I need a lint roller. So. I'm on 90 degrees outside in November. I'm, I'm sweating in here. It feels like I just went swimming.

But you did promise me that the dance move situation was gonna happen the second time. Remember? Kalin and Myles: Yeah, no, remember. Cause you taught him dance moves and you were like, next time I see you. All right this, this is the movement. So like, just like you gotta like, just swing with it a little bit, you know what I mean? Just bring it right back and then that's just how it goes. Yeah, look at this little wave.

So you're uh you just got done performing at the uh at the pre-AMAs. Tell us what that was like. What what was going on?

Killed it, killed it. Well, the fact that I'm even here on the red carpet in the scene and the environment, uh is, is, is great and um we were just jamming out. It was always a great time.

Um, your voice has a very like, I'd say classical, it's almost like, I mean it's, it's almost from a different era. Have you gotten that before?

I mean I am from Mars, so.

Different planet. You heard it here first everyone. Forrel is a, is a huge, is a huge fan of you and you also you worked with Forrel. Can you tell us about what you've done with Forrel?

Well, um, we were it's crazy how it all came together. I met him um way back when just when Blurred Lines and all that stuff was taking off. And um he kind of like he kind of scanned me up and down as a computer would. And he kind of read my thoughts and we began to talk.

Would that make, would that make you nervous when Forrel scans you up and down?

Very, very nerve wracking.

What device did he use to scan you?

His brain.

His brain. He can make he moves things. He moves other people's brain. He understands people from Mars.

Yes. Had like a Had a connection, so you know. Um, but yeah, he read me up and down. We started talking about Led Zeppelin, breakfast cereal, Duck Dynasty. And uh then he got we got a scope of one another and we decided to write some to write some tunes.
