Now, Grammys, first album, you have five nominations.
I I think they're kind of mad things to think about.
We're talking about guidance with a lot of people. Was there any one moment that sort of guided you that was like the big moment in your career that that was just like the change
Yeah, it's every moment, and it's still guiding me. Uh, well, it is, is a lot of hard work and trying to write great songs that people can relate to, that are contemporary, and also in the moment. You know, you can't write songs about yesterday. You got to write songs about what's happening now.
Now, Grammys, first album, you have five nominations. That's That's pretty crazy.
Yeah, yeah, you know, amazing. It's a great um It's a great fun night, isn't it? An amazing collection. I mean, I went there before. I was nominated for some, you know, and saw other acts a few years back, and it's yeah, just an amazing spectacle, really.
So, if you were to create the ultimate Grammy mashup, any two artists putting them together to do a duet, who would you pick?
Well, that's a good one. I wouldn't mind seeing like Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney together. That would be pretty damn good. Yeah, that would be it. Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. That would be it. Well, you know, and then if you want to go with dead guys, I would say Elvis and Hendrix. And stick John Lennon in there too.
I mean, you first got that call. What what were you doing when they were like, you have not one Grammy nomination, not two, but you have five nominations.
Yeah, you know, kind of I think they're kind of mad things to think about. Um, and you know, when you're writing an album, you're writing songs, it's not the kind of You don't have those in mind necessarily. But along the way, it makes for some uh one or two great after parties if you're invited. That's the key. The after parties. Grammys are all about the after parties. Well, thank you. I appreciate it.
