Mark Wahlberg to produce Boston reality show

Mark Wahlberg has inked a deal to make a documentary series set in his native Boston, Massachusetts.

The actor will serve as executive producer on the as-yet-untitled series, about four friends from Boston trying to overcome their working-class roots.

Mark Wahlberg has been given the green light to make six episodes of the show, reports Deadline.com.

It's not the only TV project Wahlberg currently has in the pipeline - he is also making a pilot about retired athletes living in Miami, Florida, and signed up his Pain & Gain co-star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for the cast.
