Rob Van Winkle

Hey. First of all, thanks for the follow on Twitter. You started following Young Hollywood. You're a new ninja. That's what I call my followers, the ninjas. At Vanilla Ice, simple as a pimple. Get in where you fit in. Follow the ninja.

Young Hollywood

He's a natural born poet clearly. Clearly. What is the ninja like this is the I dream in rhymes and You do, don't you?

Rob Van Winkle

Yeah, the ninja is this. I don't know if I can do it. I'm going to have to work on that.

Young Hollywood

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait. The beat. Try it at home. Fold the two on the outside in. Stick it out. It's not as easy as it looks, people. This is the master over here. Okay, so first of all, you play yourself in that small boy.

Rob Van Winkle

Altered version of the old myself. Right.

Young Hollywood

Danny Burger. The guy. It's been a long time. How you been? I'm in big trouble. I owe the government a lot of money like 43 large. You think I got that kind of money? Listen, man. I work at a ice rink now. Who would have thought this would happen to us? So what is the fresh take on Vanilla Ice in this film? How is it a fresh take on him? Cuz there's some classic stuff in there too.

Rob Van Winkle

Well, I yeah, I had to, you know, step out and kind of go back in and remember things and you know, it's it's the altered version of what the larger than life Vanilla Ice used to be. So it's, you know, the 5. 0 Mustang. When that thing showed up on set, I was like, I got to go see it. They're like, wait, it's sitting in the back. We got to film this. I I got to go see it.

Young Hollywood

Did you ever own a 5. 0? Yeah. I mean I know it was in the song, but

Rob Van Winkle

Yeah, no, that was my five, my real 5. 0 and they they actually made it exactly the same way. And uh there's actually four of them in the movie.

Young Hollywood

Did I hear that you're going to be setting the pace at Pocono in that car from the movie?

Rob Van Winkle

Yeah. As Charlie would say.

Young Hollywood

Wait, what is this now? You made a sound when you did that. What's going on?

Rob Van Winkle

That means I'm excited, man.

Young Hollywood

So wait, how do you set the pace at a race track? Are you nervous? Like are you going to have to go 200 miles an hour or what's the deal?

Rob Van Winkle

I'm never nervous like that. I I love the excitement. Makes you feel alive and I get to go around with Dale Earnhardt and these 200 mile an hour cars behind me rumbling. And I get to do a lap around the actual real NASCAR track. Right. And with the fans, hundreds of thousands of them there screaming and yelling and and I get to do it in my old Mustang 5. 0. Drop rag top down so my hair can blow. This is going to be awesome.

Young Hollywood

So I know you got the Vanilla Ice Project season three. Okay. Ice my house. Yeah, so you Okay, so what would you do to this studio? To this studio? Yeah. What do we need in here? What do you you decked this thing out. You knew I was coming, huh? You really came equipped. It's almost like I came in here and iced it out myself. I put together a little rap. Word. That I'm going to do for you and if you'll indulge me. Are you ready for this? Feel free to throw down a beat for me.

Rob Van Winkle

Wait, we got to fix your stilo. Hold up. Let me see the hat. This is this is what they call redneck style. Oh, boy. We don't want to be one of those. You got to join the flatbill posse. So we're going to fix this first of all. Okay. Okay. Got to train it, folks. Just like the fingers. It's like No, no, you got to get it right or it ain't tight. That's what I always say. That's my motto. Money. Much better, right? Right? Are you ready? Can you throw me a beat?

Young Hollywood

Word. I can beat. You want a beat? The beat. Stop. Rob can do it all. He worked with Sandler and he had a ball. A handy man too, he'll house till ice or he'll buy it and then fix it and then sell it for twice. Next up, he'll be pacing at Pocono. What kind of wheels will be sporting? Oh, the 5. 0. Let's go see this film and this is no ploy. It rocks, he's funny. It's called That's My Boy. Word, word. What? What? Oh my God. I love it. Thank you for doing that. That was great. Can because I gave you one, can you give me a little something for Young Hollywood?

Rob Van Winkle

Young Hollywood. Well, I'm Vanilla Ice, kicking like Jackie Chan. It's time to take a stand even though I'm contraband. I ransack the track and I'm quicker than a pimp slap. You want to cram to understand this format. Word to Hollywood. Word.

Young Hollywood

Young Hollywood. Thank you so much for coming in. What is it again? How do I do it? Like this. Oh my gosh. I got to work on this. Thanks for coming in.
