What's going on guys? Hanging with me right now. I have Christian J. Simon.
Hello. Hello.
Welcome.
Yes. Thank you.
It's your first time here.
Yes, it is.
So, how do you like it?
I love it. I love it.
You do? Comfy?
Yes, very comfy. Yes.
You like our pillows?
Yes, I do.
Well, congratulations on being on Disney Channel's newest show, Sydney to the Max.
Thank you.
It's fun, right?
Very fun. Hello.
Okay, so what's your favorite part about Leo? You play Leo. He's super funny, right? Mhm. What's your favorite part?
I mean, there's so many things I love about Leo. Yeah. I would probably say one of my favorites would be he's always there for his best friend Young Max, no matter what he chooses to do.
Awe, that's really nice. Okay. I love that. So, if you had to choose your favorite part about being on set, is there any like funny moments with you and the castmates? Just anything at all?
Oh. Me and Jackson, my castmate, we're always cracking jokes at each other. I mean, that's about it. But, yeah.
Just cracking jokes?
Yeah, basically.
So, do you have a joke that you can tell me?
I I do.
Okay. Okay, I don't know if you know the restaurant, Sizzler's.
Yeah, I do. So, me and my best friend Jackson were talking, and I was and I was like, he was like, oh, Sizzler's, that sounds good. And I was like, huh. I was like, do you want Sizzler's? It was just really funny. He started He cracks up at everything. I'll say that. He cracks up at everything I say.
Sizzler's, is that what you say? Sizzler's. And you have to do the face, right? Can you hit the camera real quick? Sizzler's. Yeah, I just want to you guys watching to get a straight on shot. Yes, okay? I love it. Well, we were talking earlier about how um, I got to visit you on the set.
Yes.
So super cool. Mhm. That was awesome. So, what's it like being an actor?
It's amazing being an actor because you could become, you know, different characters. And you're not just, you know, you you can be one character one day, a different one another day. So, yeah.
That's crazy. I know. So, take me through like your day. So like, you get up early, then you come to set, and then what a lot of people might not know is that all the sets, the different rooms are almost like like little boxes, right? And just like this big room. That's cool.
Yeah. I know. It's not like it's not like a full room though. That's the cool thing about it.
Right, right. Do you have a favorite like room on the set?
Ooh, probably the arcade. I love the arcade because there's so many cool games.
That's true. That's true. Do you have a favorite game?
I would probably say Bodacious Boarders.
Oh, what's that? What's that?
That's very fun. It's like, I think it's like where you can surf. But, I never even played it, but it looks cool.
Like you can you mean surf? Like in the water?
Yeah. Yeah, like surf, yeah.
Oh, okay. I was like I thought
But, it doesn't work. It doesn't work, though. It doesn't work. But, it looks cool.
Yeah. I thought you said you can serve, like serve moves. Like I was like, oh, that sounds like a fun game. Okay. So, if you could have anyone guest star on the show, anybody at all. It could be like one of your friends, it could be a celebrity. Who would it be?
It would be Raven Symone. Oh. I mean, she's Raven. She's Raven.
Have you met her?
I have, actually. She's really nice. Yeah. She actually shoots on the same same lot as us. Yeah.
Okay. You know, she sat like right there where you're sitting.
Really? Yeah. She's like a legend. I know. Pat it for a second. Maybe like I was going to say smell it. No, that's weird. Don't do that. It's kind of weird. Is that kind of weird?
So, the show takes place in the 90's. It does. So, I was born in the 90's. So, I know like I should know a lot of the 90's. But, what do you know? Like did you have to do a lot of research about it or?
You know, not really. I mean, when we got on set, the crew kind of talked to us and they helped us with it. But, I would say 90's, a lot of like big technology, a lot of technology.
That's true. It was kind of like a little tech boom, right? Mhm. All right. Fair enough. So, I think you have a 90's dance move.
Yes, I do.
That you might want to show me?
Yeah.
Okay. All right. Well, why don't you do it first? Okay. All right. I'll watch. Okay. Hammertime! You do it so good with your face, too, and everything. Okay. Can you want to teach it to me too now?
Of course.
Okay. I don't So, first you got to stand up. Oh, hold on. Oh, mic fell out. Uh oh. Uh oh. Nothing to see here, people. Nothing to see. Okay, okay. So, first you got to start off like this. And then you go. Huh! And then huh! Yeah. How do you do your shoulders at the same time? It's I guess it just takes practice. You're like way looser than me. I think it's like I don't know. Maybe you got to stretch. You got to stretch.
Maybe we do need to stretch. Yeah. Okay. All right. There we go.
Do you stretch before you go on set?
I do.
You do?
Yes. Okay. There you go. So, I can get loose, you know.
Okay. Let's do it all together. Ready? Okay, ready? You count for me. Okay. One, two, three. Let's go. Hey. Hey. Okay. Okay. I see you. I see you too. All right. Let's get a little stub. We looking at each other. All right. Hey. We're making eye contact. We see each other. Yes, we are. That was awesome. Yes, now you sit back on the couch. I love it. We can go ahead and sit back down and get comfy. Yes. Um, before we let you go, I want to know, what do you like to do for fun when you're not dancing like that? Being an amazing actor.
Thank you. Um, you know, I like to sing. I like to sing.
You do sing?
Yeah, like I mean, I don't I'm not doing it professionally right now. Okay. But, I do love to sing. I I guess like I always love when the radio's on. I'm always singing along with the music.
Do you have like a favorite song that you're listening to right now?
Yeah.
Okay. What is it?
I listen to a lot of gospel music.
You do?
Yes, I do. Okay. Also, I love No Brainer and Level Up. Those are like my two hype songs.
Ooh, okay. Do you want to just choose one that you can just do for like real quick for me? Okay. All right. I can do that. Your choice, your choice. You're the guest. Oh, you're going to stand up too. Perfect. Yeah, yeah. Go for it.
Level Up. Level Up. Level Up. Level Up. Level Up. Ha ha.
Oh, you like that? You like that? Okay. I thank you so much for coming by.
Thank you.
