Who or What Would The Bumblebee Cast Transform Into?

Young as you feel you are or something like that.

George is back on Young Hollywood.

The movie was incredible.

I loved every minute of it.

And I think what's so great is that you don't even have to have seen all the other Transformers to really love it and understand what was happening.

You're absolutely right.

You don't have to have seen anyone.

The story is an origin story.

It's self contained.

It's uh universal.

It's something you can relate to.

There's something for everyone.

I cried at least three times throughout it.

That's nice.

That's your desired effect.

And you and Haley just had such a great chemistry.

Did you did you know before?

You guys just now?

Nah, but it seems like we we've been friends from way back, right?

She's amazing.

She's awesome.

No, it was great, you know, she uh she really led with professionalism.

And I feel like I learned a lot from uh just seeing her operate and obviously, you know, she's she's balancing a career in film and a career in music at the same time and just you know, I just I got respect for for her work ethic.

What was it like?

You played the voice of, you know, the evil Septicon.

What was it like kind of seeing you on screen?

Cuz how how did that whole process work when you were doing the

Well I was, you know, in the booth, you sort of you spend some lonely hours in the booth by yourself.

Well, you played Dropkick, which I the evil You were like the evil person.

There was so much good in the movie, but you were the evil one.

I know, it's I you know, there has to always be a foil to the good.

Light and dark.

It's good and bad.

It's yin and yang, you know.

So, yeah, I got to be the evil guy.

Villains are fun, you know.

I enjoy doing them, you know.

I have to say Shadow today because I got to be bad.

And I have been wanting to do that.

It's so much fun.

I'm someone who grew up loving the Transformers.

Since I was a kid, I grew up in the mid 80s.

And and to be exposed to the Transformers for the first time, I wanted to make sure that I was paying tribute to what came before in the live action films.

Were you a huge fan of the whole Transformers franchise growing up?

Oh yeah.

I mean like I I was more of a fan sort of growing up, you know, watching the cartoons and things like that.

Um but yeah.

I was I was pretty

Uh do you have the toys?

Do you have a favorite?

I was not a rich kid.

I didn't get those toys.

No, I would watch my friends.

You could get them in like the McDonald's Happy Meal, right?

Don't Not really.

No, not the good ones.

Not the ones with the fist that shot off and you know, bullets and things like that.

Um yeah, I didn't get those toys.

Do you have a favorite Transformers?

Did you have the toys?

I had a few.

Uh Hot Shot.

He's not Generation One, but he's in there somewhere.

He's a hot head.

Called Hot Shot.

So maybe him.

He's pretty cool.

I walked out of there feeling like it was a real true 80s movie.

In a great way.

In the best way possible, which was that's sort of what you were going for.

That was the idea.

Yeah.

I mean, I wanted to make it feel like it was woven from the same thread of those great 80s movies that I love, you know, specifically the Amblin films.

I wanted to have that same feeling of wonder, of magic, of laughter and tears.

And, you know, it's it's to make it feel like it was shot in 1987.

And I think we pulled it off.

If you could transform into anything or any person or anything at all.

What would it be?

I I who would it be?

Oh, if I could transform into anything.

Oh my god.

Um Bill Murray.

No, I don't know.

Yeah.

Um

Who wouldn't want to transform.

You just look at his life and you think like that would be fantastic.

That'd be a hilarious Transformers movie.

Just like me transforming into Bill Murray and then going golfing or something.
