John Cena, man of the night right here. Men of the year. In the now, we're here. You were just speaking in a completely different language next to me. In Chinese?
Yeah, those are the folks from M Time and we got I know the Transformers franchise is very popular in China and I I've been over there a few times, so I'm very excited to hopefully bridge it across the water again.
I mean, you're a wrestler, actor, multi language expert. What other language do you know fluently?
I'm an expert, I'm still working on English, so I I'm I got a long way to go with with Mandarin, but I I like I said, I know a lot of a lot of audience members over there are waiting for this film and I I'm I'm hoping I can bring it to them.
Well, Bumblebee, I mean, it was literally one of my favorite movies I've ever seen. It's such a great human story. There's a lot of connection in it, which I think is kind of refreshing for the whole Transformers franchise.
Me too, and I think um I think viewers around the world are gonna enjoy it. Like you could you could be a fan in China and walk in and understand this movie and I think it's really impressive because Bumblebee doesn't speak. So even though the movies will be translated, I think any moviegoer can understand the action and Bumblebee's vulnerability because it's all physical. And a lot of the the action is physical, but like you said, it's a connection. It's story-based, so we we got a hell of a movie and I'm I'm I'm just very happy.
I actually walked out feeling like it was a total eighties movie that I actually saw, which is really awesome. It had that like ET vibe that, you know,
And that's the thing. It is it is a coming of age story that harkens back to those uh really wonderful eighties movies. Um I think it's done extremely well. It doesn't hit you over the head with anything. You leave the theater thinking you're in a time machine and feeling good. Those eighties scores are so iconic. I'm actually very proud for uh Haley that she got to do the credit song because from a guy who's got his own theme music as a hero, she's now got superhero theme music. So I'm really proud that she got to do a track on that.
That was like working with her, by the way. She was incredible.
is absolutely incredible and amazing. She uh is driven and professional and very gifted at what she does.
So if you could be anything, if you could transform into anything, a person, a thing, whatever it is that you'd want to transform into, what would it be?
Okay, so I've been answering this question all week and I gotta stick with my same answer. I've been petitioning the Hasbro folks to make John Tron, which is almost like Megatron, but because I'm John, I would have to transform into John, so it would be a John figure that transforms into a toilet. John Tron. Think about it.
Wow. That could be a whole franchise on its own.
Yes, I go from taking crap to taking no crap.
If you could create a Transformer, what would it look like?
Well, so I've already I've already given you my John Tron pitch. Uh, man, um I'd like to see something transform into a time machine because then you could go into crazy different worlds, but then we would also see what a time machine looks like. Maybe it would look like a DeLorean. I'm not sure. Marty! Now, you can actually go into crazy different worlds.
If you could create a Transformer what would it look like? What would it look like?
