Sportin' Around Sundance

Hey, it's Jill Wilderman here in beautiful Park City, Utah for another exciting year at the Sundance Film Festival. Of course, there are some great celebrities here, some good films to see, and the ever-so popular gifting suites, so let's go check it out. We're here with Barry Zito. I gotta say, I'm a little shocked cuz I'm interviewing more athletes than actors, which is very cool. What brings you here to Sundance?

Yeah. Boring inning, it's just fun to come check out one of my favorite shoe brands.

What do we pick out here?

Yeah, these are the ones right here.

You're going to get rested up for the next three weeks. Obviously, no skiing or snowboaring for you. Snowball fights only.

Yeah, and probably with my non-pitching hand, just to make sure.

We got gifting suites, parties, films. What's your favorite part of Sundance so far?

Just a relaxed weekend, and I'm just enjoying it. Uh, I gotta admit though, I I am pretty into checking people out. I saw Sandy Cohen from The OC. I don't know his real name, but he's Sandy Cohen to me, so I was excited.

For the most part, yes, but we'll see what happens.

We're talking to Barry. You guys have three weeks to kind of I don't know, do you rest, you get it all outta your system?

I don't really know if I wanna take it easy, go at it hard, but, you know, I still have to stay in shape, so I don't wanna get too crazy, but absent is legal now, so I don't know what's good.

Yeah, what happens. We're here with Kyle Korver and Devin Williams of the Utah Jazz. This is our first night being in town. We've been on the road, uh, trying to get some victories, so I think they do it on purpose. They they send us away when Do you have a Super Bowl day plans? Like is it a big day for you or no?

It's tough 'cause you know, when you play and you're not in it, and you know guys that are in it, you get kinda mad. You're like, "Man, I should be there, you know."

And do you have any picks for the Super Bowl?

Pittsburgh will be a good ticket.

I'm gonna go Cardinals. I love the uh, the Cardinals just 'cause the Kurt Warner story. I love a good comeback story, and you know, what that guy did with the Rams was amazing, and then to come back and do what he's doing now, and, you know, Boldin and Fitzgerald. You can't love those receivers either, so.

I'm gonna predict uh, Pittsburgh.
