What's up, guys? Leslie Robbins here. Young Hollywood is hanging out on the set of a brand new sitcom called Partners, and we are hanging out with the hilarious cast.
Partners is a show about best friends, one's gay, one's straight, and um, um, they have their own partners. So, David Kromholz and I play Lewis and Joe who are uh, business partners. They're architects. They've also been best friends since they were kids. And my character, Lewis, has a long-term boyfriend in Wyatt who's played by Brandon Ralph. Not so good-looking, right? How do you look at him all day? It's hard. And then David's character is engaged to uh, Allie, which is played by Sophia Bush. Another unattractive person on this Big Time Fluffer. I know. It's hard being the best-looking person in the show, but I do it.
Let's talk about your partner on the show. He is adorable and funny and how do you not laugh all the time?
Michael, uh, Michael Yuri to whom you're referring is uh, is extremely funny. He is uh a real professional, and uh, he has a lot of energy and uh, he puts it all into his work and it's, it's great. Thankfully, we, we get uh, several days of rehearsal. So, um, you know, through the rehearsal process, we get to laugh during that, so when it comes to to tape night, uh, I've got all my laughs out, for the most part. I'm a very, I'm a serious actor.
You are. You're actually classically trained. I know that.
Well, yes, I am. Juilliard, yeah. That's right. And we don't goof off there. No. So, I'm the serious one here at Partners.
Yo, yo, what's up? Can I hold the mic like this the whole time?
You can.
Yo, what's up? It's Kromholz. I'm tempted to human beatbox, but that's probably not gonna happen.
Why?
Because it's like, I'll be embarrassing, you know.
I see an issue over there. Come crash.
Hey, what's up?
Hey. Hey, I'm Michael Yuri.
Hey. This guy's not young. I can't take him anymore. Today was the first day that I was like, done with this guy. We'll be better tomorrow, yeah.
I saw the pilot. Yeah. And they use the word schmeckle? Uh-huh. Who thought of the name schmeckle?
Well, it's a lot of, uh uh, I believe that's Yiddish. I don't know. Um. But there's a lot of um, those kind of uh uh little pieces thrown in uh the show. We have a couple uh writers who who uh, who are Jewish and and uh and so it's uh, and they're funny words. They're funny-sounding words. So.
I kinda love the word schmeckle.
Schmeckle's a good word.
Do you know what it means?
I, I do know what it means.
Okay. So, do you love the word? Do you love the, do you love the thing?
My parents are gonna watch this.
Mine, too.
I don't know. Where would they find it?
If you were a comedy writer, what word would you use instead of schmeckle?
Well, schwantz is a good go-to, but I, I um, I used to call mine the Purple Warrior of Bethlehem. I don't know why, but I figured, you know, he fought in the Crusades and he was, you know, he's just, he's an old soul.
What name would you use other than schmeckle?
Penis. That's the word that's what that's what it.
I know, but You mean another word for penis besides schmeckle?
Yeah. Yeah. 'Cause schmeckle's funny.
Wingding.
Isn't that like a Hostess cupcake?
That's a Ding Dong.
Oh. Thank you. That's pretty personal.
It's pretty personal. Yes.
It's a personal question.
Yeah. I'd probably call it, I don't know, my, my Tracy Volar.
Your who?
My Tracy Volar.
What is that?
That's the name I give my penis.
Tracy Volar?
That's Tracy Volar. I just named my penis for you.
Where she plays Rola on the show? She's a genius. You actually rubbed your head against her boobs. In the show, too. Yeah. That's just for me. That's just to distract me from how enraged I am at him today.
Why are you mad at him?
There's so many things. I, I wish I could go into it. There's just so many.
What song are you dancing to right now?
He's probably dancing to the song he made me sing on camera before.
Which is what?
Oh, but I love you so. I'm not gonna do it.
I just wanted to get you to do your thing. I got you good, though.
Wow. You did. Wow, you did.
I don't human beatbox. Come on.
Oh, look at this idiot. Get this. Wait, why don't you come crash our interview with Adam? That's fine. Anytime. Anytime, papa.
And he's not classically trained, either.
Nope. Nope. He's not trained a bit.
Let's talk about him. Give me some secrets, dirt. Give me dirt.
You want dirt?
I want dirt.
He once killed a guy in Austria.
In Austria. Well, it was it it at that time it was the Austro-Hungarian Empire. That that's how old I am. And it and it was he was pardoned. But that man is dead.
Wow. Yeah.
Please watch my show um, because if you don't, I will cut my schmeckle.
