What would you say was your hobby you picked up during the depths of?

Oh, that's a very good question. I tried to learn how to crochet that did not work for me. That would like I went one day crocheting and then I dropped that. Uh what did I do? I had a lot of like one day activities. I wrote a screenplay that was cool but like yeah, that wasn't necessarily a hobby. Um but I would say like

But you did that, so that's good.

I did do that. I wrote. I'll say that. I wrote and then I watched a bunch of TV. I baked, I made brownies. Yeah.

And when did you film the Republic of Sarah in relation to

We were going to start filming last March and then obviously got sent home and then we went back in September, like late September and then wrapped this April.

What was the screenplay? Before or after you filmed?

It was before. I was like had the idea in my head for like a few years and then um it was kind of like executed and finished during

Yeah, you finally had time.

Yeah. Yeah.

Are you in it or you just wrote it?

Um I hope to be in it. We'll see. We'll see how it goes. But yeah, I'm very proud.

The book of Sarah, we were just talking about it a little bit. You know your name's Bella Whitmore in the show. What was your name going to be?

My name originally was going to be Phoebe Whitmore and we were just talking about that like this is something I didn't even think of, but that I guess is an actual girl that lives in Northern New Hampshire in real life. So they changed it to

I bet there's like a Bella Whitmore who that's like literally going to watch the show and be like, oh okay. She's like, that's me. It's actually based off on me.

Yeah. Uh but I like the name. It's a fitting name.

What would what would your like This is like a weird question, but dream name be like for like

For a character?

Yeah. I don't know. Like when you were growing up did you ever play games where you're like, oh my name is I wish my name was this?

Yeah. Um I always loved the name like Billie with an IE, which is funny because even before like Billie Eilish was a thing I always just loved that name. Yeah. Um I don't know. I've always thought my name kind of fits me. Yeah. I don't know. Lande, it is. Even in the even in the shows. Yeah. I like that it's kind of unique but still like

Yeah. Literally never met a Landry before. So

Okay and so from like your point like looking back at the show, what would you say you relate most to in your real life?

Ooh. Um In Bella. I always say like I feel like Bella she's 16, I'm 20. I feel like she's like a very good example of like kind of toying with growing up and like how people perceive you and wanting to be a certain way for certain people and then sort of throughout the season she kind of realizes that she just needs to do what she wants and what's best for herself and that's like a really weird lesson to learn because you kind of have to toy with that. So I would say that's something that I've like had a lot of like, oh I don't want to be viewed this way and you know, I want these people to think this of me and it's like you just need to do you and that's still something I'm working on. Um so I think she has a lot of like her family life and like kind of what she wants to do socially and they kind of go against each other. Um so she kind of has those personality. Yeah. That was.

And when you read over like Bella when you read over the script, what were you like most looking forward to?

Ooh. Um I think just like the idea of an ensemble cast like really excited me. Like I always um I'm very much like wanting, you know, it's fun to be on location with a group of people and everyone just like, it's like brothers and sisters. So that was something that really excited me and then I think it was like a really ambitious plot for the CW. Um

So that was something cool because it was something, you know, different than they've done a lot of like superhero shows and things like that and it was like completely the other direction. So that was really cool. Yeah.

It's three. Because I remember hating the description because I was like, this is not how I'm going to play this character at all and then I did it and they were like, oh, you didn't play it stereotypical or preppy and I was like, yeah, that was the goal. I know. That's not doing it.

I read that through and I was like based on what we know about Landry, like the search we did with you and then how you are online. I was like stereotypical and preppy though.

I know and I know it's so rude. I think that was the original one for the pilot and then they're like, wait, we want her to be like relatable and like, I was like, yeah, let's let's change it.

But it would have been kind of fun if you had to be like super preppy.
