Hey everyone, it's Audrey Cleo and it's time to gear up because we are headed to The Great Indoors. Like the set of the TV show. And action, Audrey.

Joel McHale

In case you're wondering who I was with, Joel McHale, star of the show. You're the star. What show? The Great Indoors. Well played, Audrey. Yeah. You got the shot.

Shaun Brown

Mr. Sean Brown with me in the Outdoor Limits magazine office space. Yeah? Yeah, this is our this is our our home. All right. These are ping-pong balls 'cause I don't know if you noticed, we have a ping-pong table for our conference table. Awesome. We're hip and we're millennials.

Joel McHale

Yeah, totally.

Shaun Brown

In this episode we're talking about different article ideas and you know, Jack gets all the awesome ones. Okay. Yeah, by Joel McHale.

Young Hollywood

Do you hate millennials as much as Jack does?

Joel McHale

No, this is the thing. There's a reputation of the show that we're out to get millennials. If you watch the show, my character is uh pretty much a buffoon and he's being shown by the millennials uh how life works now. But that doesn't say, I mean, we are definitely making fun of all the generations.

Young Hollywood

I'm with Christine Ko and Chris Mintz-Plasse.

Christine Ko

Thanks for having me here, you guys.

Chris Mintz-Plasse

Absolutely.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, you're in the bar. You're enjoying the good part of the set. It's the most fun part of the set, I imagine.

Christine Ko

Yeah. Yeah. I'm drinking on the job everyday. All the time.

Joel McHale

So the show is about this kind of disgruntled journalist who has to work in his biggest nightmare, an office full of millennials. But I think it makes fun of all generations. I think it makes fun of Gen X, baby boomers, millennials. And we just have to not be so sensitive.

Christine Ko

Absolutely, yeah.

Joel McHale

And suck it up and take it.

Christine Ko

Yeah. Yeah.

Shaun Brown

This is where all the uh magic happens. Not not the brain magic.

Joel McHale

Brain magic, yes. Not actual physical magic though. Chris Williams, he can do magic. Did you know that?

Shaun Brown

He can and it's astounding. I'm always the guy that's like when I see magic happen, I'm like dancing like, "What was that?"

Joel McHale

What was that?

Shaun Brown

Hey, Young Holly, we're gonna watch some magic.

Joel McHale

5,000. 1, 2, 3.

Young Hollywood

Oh, Susanna Fielding, Chris Williams. Chris indeed. This is a fun cast. You guys So, you guys like to hang out, I heard.

Christine Ko

Yes, we do.

Chris Mintz-Plasse

Okay. We do. After work.

Young Hollywood

You had a big night out on Saturday night.

Christine Ko

Yeah, cast who parties together, you know, stays together. Yeah. This cast likes to get down. This cast likes to party.

Joel McHale

Yeah. Except for me, because I have two kids and I leave every weekend to go work 'cause I'm an obsessive compulsive workaholic.

Young Hollywood

There's like two rules in show business, right? You're not supposed to work with children. Yeah. And you're not supposed to work with animals. Right. You guys already violated one of those rules 'cause there's like a whole parade of animals on the set.

Christine Ko

Absolutely. Yeah. Today they worked with a tiger.

Joel McHale

Yeah. We've had a lemur. Uh, we have a penguin on set today. An otter. Two otters. A baby goat.

Young Hollywood

That's so cute.

Christine Ko

Oh, it was really cute. So cute.

Young Hollywood

Cute. I love all this like outdoor gear. I feel like I'm in like a like an REI or something.

Joel McHale

Yeah, it's it's super cool. I mean, this bike came in yesterday. Look at how big the tires. Like, who needs bike tires? It's insane. I know. I don't know, but it's here and it's so cool looking. I'm actually tempted to ride it. Oh my God, it's so heavy. All right. Oh my gosh. So that's just, oh, I'm too short. I'm too short. All right.

Young Hollywood

Stephen Fry is heckling us as we give the

Joel McHale

He literally just called me off. He goes, "What?" We're going on an adven- Oh my, I have not ridden a bike in a long time, it appears.

Young Hollywood

You can tell from Stephen Fry's accent that he's Japanese.

Joel McHale

Yes. Japanese love their sweater vests. He's dressed as Teddy Ruxpin for this next scene. Uh, so this is uh Do not hurt yourself. I'm just going to park this now. Okay. Let's just, He's just going to stop by. Sir Stephen Fry, guys. Sir Stephen Fry. This is it's like this all the time. Can you help me?

Young Hollywood

Yeah, of course. Yeah.

Joel McHale

Ah, smooth. That's not a wall. That's not a wall. No. So we're just going to lean it very carefully back. Let's go this way. Let's go this way.

Young Hollywood

Well, I wanted to quiz you on a little bit of millennial slang. So I'm going to throw out a couple words and you can explain to all the people back home what these mean.

Joel McHale

To the best of my ability.

Young Hollywood

To the best of your ability. Exactly. Uh, bae.

Christine Ko

It's like your your boo, your your boy, your girl, your your love interest. Yeah.

Joel McHale

Oh, that's like. I hate that one. I hate that one. Why?

Christine Ko

Bae it's like your bae. Yeah.

Joel McHale

So say babe. Just say babe.

Christine Ko

You're my boo. It's a older. It's a more updated reference.

Young Hollywood

Okay, well, it's spelled b-a-e. Right. So what do those letters stand for?

Christine Ko

I don't know what it

Joel McHale

Yeah, it has a meaning. Uh, it's an acronym.

Christine Ko

Wow, I did not know that. I don't know what what is that.

Joel McHale

Before anyone else. Yeah, that's what it is.

Christine Ko

Oh, that's sweet. Okay. Yeah. It's not like I'm going to use it, but I like it a little bit more.

Joel McHale

Clark wants Emma to be his bae. Yeah. Before anyone else. Yeah. Huh. I did not know that. Okay.

Young Hollywood

When someone's flexing.

Christine Ko

Oh oh the muscle.

Joel McHale

Well, flexing is like flossing, showing off. Okay. Being grandiose of sorts. If you flex, what are you doing? Can you use it in a sentence, please?

Christine Ko

Uh, we just. Jeopardy. Christine got a new car so she'd be flexing it on the gram. She she's um she's uh pimpin'. She's high riding. She's she's

Joel McHale

So the abbreviations, the briefs. The briefs. Of course. Uh, r-n and a-f.

Christine Ko

RN, AF. Oh, are we allowed to say those on television?

Joel McHale

Oh, we can censor them. As. Yeah, and a pretty nurse. I like RN's. Those are registered nurses.

Christine Ko

RN. Right now? Is that right?

Joel McHale

Mhm. And as. Yeah, there you go. Yeah. You did very well.

Christine Ko

Did I? Did I pass it?

Joel McHale

You passed the millennial quiz. Yeah, that's right. Mhm. This is my celebration dance when I pass quizzes. That's what got me through high school. So in conclusion, uh, it is I think The Great Indoors is possibly the greatest show in the history of television and those that you don't watch it, booh. You your life is is definitely missing something, a major component.

Young Hollywood

So I guess what we've learned is that millennials aren't so different after all. Right, guys? Oh, I'll take you home.
