Welcome to younghollywood. com. We are here with Dr. Travis Stork of The Doctors. You probably recognize him from The Bachelor. You knew I was going to bring it up, right?
I was waiting for that.
You're back to television, though.
Well, this is who I am. I'm an ER doctor. That's who I was before I was The Bachelor. That's who I've been every day since. And so, this allows me to be me every day and to share what's most passionate in my life with viewers. So, this is quite a bit different than me and The Bachelor, I have to admit. And I'm loving every day of it. It is shocking. There's never been a show like this before because people get the majority of their medical information from TV. And never before have we had a daytime show where you get salient medical info from real doctors. And more than anything, we're having fun. We are having a great time. These stories are compelling. They're intriguing, and I think people at home can relate to them. We're not a traditional talk show. We're making house calls. We're going to the hospital. We're taking viewers to the operating room.
What are you enjoying about Hollywood?
Hollywood is different, but I have to say that the friends I've made since I've been here has been the best part of it.
We're here with Dr. Ordon on the set of The Doctors. Tell us what you bring to the show.
Well, I'm the plastic surgeon. We're going to do minor, non-invasive stuff. We actually have a procedure room in back of the set here. So, I've already done some fillers, some lips here that do that during the middle of the show. We show before and after. They come at the end of the show and show those immediate results.
Jay McGraw, creator, executive producer of The Doctors. How is it working with a successful father, Dr. Phil?
First of all, we get along great. We have fun doing this together, but I feel like we're doing a season two show on day one, and a lot of that is because he's been able to take a lot of the hurdles and the uh beginning mistakes out of it for us. Watch the show because you'll learn a lot about yourself, your health, and I think you'll have a lot of fun doing it.
