Who Mackenzie Ziegler Named Her Makeup After

Yep. Oh, that's so pretty. Oh, I love that. It's nice cuz it's not like a white sparkle. It's kind of like a very it blends, you know?

Wow. Okay, and I love how this looks like a notebook. Yes. I think I heard your friends helped you name these or that you used your friends as inspiration for some of the lines?

Obviously, I wanted this line to be very personal to myself. So I let my friends help choose the names. My sister like incorporated her own ideas and then also I kind of named them after my friends.

Do they know it's named after them or not yet?

Not yet, actually.

Has your sister tried? Has Maddie tried any of the products yet?

She actually did this morning for the first time and she was like, "Wow, it's actually good." She really liked it. Um she loved the eyeliner. She's really into like full glam. So I think she likes that the best. So I'm like, Okay. I'm like really excited cuz she's like amazing at it. So I'm like I hope she likes it. She's good. Yep.

And what about you? Do you have a favorite product?

The liquid slide-on glitters are like my favorite.

I know as a dancer, you wear makeup on stage, of course. When did you remember the first time you put makeup on yourself?

The first time I put makeup on myself was when I was I think like I did a makeup tutorial on YouTube.

Really?

And it's the worst thing ever.

That was the first time you did makeup?

Yes. I was six and um my friends make fun of me for it sometimes because it's like I'm I'm very little obviously and I know nothing about makeup and I think I know everything. But um then I started to try and do my makeup for competitions and my sister was like, "No, you cannot do that." She started doing her own makeup when she was eight.

Wow. For competitions.

Yes.

Maddie was like, let me help you. Let me fix your eyeliner.

Literally. That's what big sisters are for.

Yeah. And what about the first time you started thinking like I'd love to have a makeup line?

Um it was actually recently maybe like two years ago. I kind of wanted to create my own because um I started to get more into makeup and I started loving it. And I was like, "You know what? I feel like it'd be really awesome to um do my own colors and everything." And I think it's really awesome to share with with my fans as well because I have a younger audience and they love makeup. So I was like, "I feel like I just need to do a line that's very like colorful and like on the mirrors it has like positive messages." So I tried to keep the whole thing very positive.
