Celebs Reveal How Long It Took To Get Ready For The KCAs

What's up, Young Hollywood today? We're at the 2023 Kids Choice Awards where we're gonna be interviewing some of your favorite cast members from Nickelodeon and some of your favorite social stars. So hope you enjoy.

How long did it take you to get ready?

Okay. I would say, I mean, collectively hours and hours and hours and days and days and days because this took forever to get in to get in it again. But I guess today, I mean, I got on a plane at four a. m. today from New Mexico where we're shooting. And so I, yeah, but then hair and makeup took like two hours. I think.

How long did it take you to get ready?

Three minutes?

Only three minutes.

Yeah, I do this stuff in my sleep. I just pick anything.

Did you go shopping for this outfit?

No, it was actually in my closet. I wore these jeans like seven times.

Okay. So you're fine with re wearing clothes.

Yeah, all dripped out, all dropped out. I got the plain black tea on, you know, then I got the Mary Varsity jacket on. Then I got the black jeans and the Rick Owens, you know, the, you know, the vibes. Then you also hold on the Roly roly for the birthday boy, Young Dylan. And I also got the chain on, you know, swag in.

Are you always this swaggy when you go out?

Yes, ma'am. Gotta be, you gotta be flaw. It's part of the brand real rap, real rap.

You look so good. Thank you. I've never done black on the carpet. So I wanted to do something a little different for Casey A you know, go all out.

How long did it? Well, actually when did you pick this outfit out?

Actually had this made for me? So it took about maybe two weeks to get the final design together and then Maggie Berry really pulled it all together with her. Amazing. So yeah, usually for carpets like this get fitted, like have your fits actually made for you. I mean, sometimes I do last year, it kind of just kind of fit off the hanger. But sometimes I do sometimes I don't. This year I wanted to have a little fun with the whole concept of flowers but black flowers with something sparkly going on. So, yeah, I wanted to have some fun this year.

Okay. How long did it take you to get ready?

I mean, I didn't really count but it probably took like an hour and a half but it felt like it felt like so quick because it was so fun to get ready and just looking forward to. This makes me like, so excited. I can't believe I'm here.

How long did you know before you came that you were gonna come?

I think only like a month. I was like, so excited when I found out because going to the Kids Choice Awards has been one of my bucket list items and like something that has been in my dreams to do. So it's just so exciting to be here. And that's so awesome.

How, who picked out the dress? Did you pick out your dress?

My mom will pick out my dress and then she'll ask me if I like it. And when I saw this dress, I said yes, immediately we love the green.

How long did it take you to get ready?

Yeah. Well, it's a really long time because I had to find, I had to find my, what I'm going to wear really? And I had to do my hair, which doesn't look like much, but I had to find the right products to make it look good. It took me like an hour, like an hour, 30 minutes, maybe longer than normal. Right.

Yeah, a lot longer than I'm just getting ready for school. A lot longer.

Kids Choice Awards is all about the fun. So, no matter what, I'm always gonna have fun and you look amazing this dress.

How long did it take you to pick this dress up?

Um, so last night I had a fitting which was my first fitting for the Kids Choice Awards because everything was so last minute and I saw this dress and I put it on and I was like, this is made for me and you know, I wore it. It's perfect for K C A s like the color of the scheme like and you like kind of match everything. I know little purple, the green, you know everything.

Okay. I love this pink chain that you have going on. So, but how long did it take you to get ready?

Overall get ready. It took me like a little bit over an hour to get ready. But to put this together, I literally just rampaged my mother's closet and yeah, my mom's closet and I put this together. We got a little pink black and white going on.

How long did it take you to get ready?

It took me about two hours.

Some of the guys have said longer.

The guys, of course they did. I was planned ready to go though. I had it all like figured out. So I was like ready to go for to you usually have stuff planned out. Are you like a last minute girl? No, I am a planner. I have calendars in multiple places. I knew exactly what was going on from the moment I woke up until this moment right now.

You look so good. How long did it take you to get ready?

Okay. I low key, I got ready in the car. So most of it was done before I got in the car.

Why did you do that? I mean, you didn't, you live here? You live in L A and yes I do. And you still got ready in the car. Wake up first on.

Ah, I just wanted to eat, I just wanted to eat, man, I just didn't want to get anything on my clothes.

Okay. I thought you meant you literally just got in the car for the no, but it took like 30 minutes so good. You look amazing.

How long did it take you to get ready?

Um it took me about two hours to get ready and that's mainly Because I was running late at the end and had to rush everything.

You usually run late. Be honest.

Yes, I has started making myself alarms for us, start to get stressed for 15 minutes before I need to leave and it hasn't been working yet, but it will kick in soon. Hopefully, eventually, eventually.

guys come on over. Okay. Wait. So did you coordinate at all? Because you kind of all are perfectly the same vibe.

You know, we all have very different aesthetics, but when we come together, we look like coordinated. So I don't know how it always just happens kind of like on the same wavelength a little bit and it always just sort of works out.

How long have you guys known each other?

Oh, my gosh. Like two years, almost two years we met in the process of recording Monster High. The movie, the first one. So that was in October of 2021. So, we've been here for a minute.

Okay. I love the dress. I love the nails, the jewelry. Did you pick it out yourself?

I actually did. I was debating getting a stylist but it seem, it's kind of hard because I'm not, I'm not based in L A. So, yeah, and fun fact, these are actually press ons.

No way. No one will know.

It looks so good. How long did it take you to get ready?

Well, all of the cast fluent at five in the morning. Yeah. So we all started getting ready. I got ready around 11 but there was kind of like four of us in the hotel room. So I took a pretty long time. The dresses giving. Did you get that in L A or you had it? I got it online and then I got it completely realtor to fit me. So, yeah, I'm excited to see everybody here. Um, I love the energy in these places. The fans are always super nice. I love talking with you guys and like seeing all my friends that I only get carpets. So it's lovely. I love being here. I thought I'd wear a slime colored dress. It's so your abs. Like literally I can't your abs stuff.
