Sports Legends Big Game Talk

Hey guys, Brooke Long here with Young Hollywood. We're here at the leather and lace party and it's freezing outside but the party is just heating up in here. So join me inside. We're going to meet up with some of sports greatest legends.

We are here with Marcus Allen who, of course, is a football legend. Marcus, are you having fun here yet?

I'm having a great time.

Are you excited about the game?

You know, this is this is matchups that you rarely see. Two great teams, uh great offenses, great defenses, two great quarterbacks. It's going to go down to the wire. I mean, I think it's gonna be a fantastic game.

All right, I know you have a lot of friends and you've played on a lot of teams. So I want to know which team you're actually rooting for.

The Steelers. Even though I mean, I love Aaron Rodgers, I love Play Matthews, USC, and I love Mike McCarthy, in particular. But uh, you know, I love Troy Polamalu too and a few guys on the uh the Steeler teams that I really uh respect. So, it's an AFC thing. I'm kind of leaning towards the AFC, is what I'm doing.

Hey, Warren, how's it going?

Brooke, I'm doing great tonight and uh you look great and I think this party is gonna be great.

You've played a lot of football. Yes. I've seen your bio. You got a lot of football. And you've got a lot of experience. I want to know, do you think I could take you in a one-on-one match?

It depends on what we're doing one-on-one.

Football! Where is your mind going?

I think you cannot take me even at my age right now. I would, you would have your hands full. I mean, I'm pretty competitive. And depending on what you do to me, I might just go ahead and let you over take you.

Oh, now, if I win, he's going to let me win. Now, did you think either of these teams were gonna end up here in the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season?

Pittsburgh, I wasn't sure just because Ben Rothburger being suspended. Green Bay was favored to be here, but they had a lot of injuries early, so everybody kind of discounted them because of all the injuries, but they were able to regroup. So it doesn't surprise me that both of these teams are here.

Now I take it the Super Bowl is something you would never miss. It's probably your favorite time of year.

It's everything that I want. And I never got a chance to play in one of these, so this is my way of playing in it by enjoying everything else that comes with it.

How are you doing? Are you having a blast?

Are you a huge football fan?

Yes, I am.

I have a feeling that's because people are beating each other up and that's what you're used to.

Of course.

Now, did you ever want to play football, or you were just straight into boxing?

My goal was when I was a kid to play football, and I wanted to be a Falcon, and I didn't make it.

So you're a Falcon fan. That's right. Exactly. Well, that makes the next question very difficult. What team are you rooting for? Because the Falcons aren't here.

Well, I'm, I'm rooting for, uh, Green Bay.

Green Bay? Yes. A Packers fan. That's what I've been looking for. All right. All right. In a boxing match, who would win? You or me?

I would win.

You would win? I'm a girl. You wouldn't let me win?

Nope. No.

So I just have to be really nice to you.

Well, you know, Yeah.

Okay, I can handle that. Okay. Cuz I'm scared now. So it's okay.

No, you shouldn't be. Um, yeah, boy, you just understand, it wouldn't be a smart move.
