Mike Tyson Tells His Story

Welcome to Young Hollywood. com. Hey there, it's Michelle Marie and we're here at the premiere of Mike Tyson's documentary film Tyson.

Well he gets a chance to tell his side of the story. It's been pure hell. That was a disaster because I was too immature to be married. It was the most horrible time of my life. If I have any anger, if it's directed at anyone, it's directed at myself. I might be insane I might be insane.

This is your time to show the world who you really, really are. What's one thing about the movie that you could tell everybody that we should learn about you?

I don't know, they have to watch it on their own and make their own basic opinion. I don't know what people think they might have different perception of what they see and like everybody either different and they reject different um values.

Who are the top three fighters of all time?

There's so many great fighters, you know, and they have so many great qualities and assets. It's very difficult and very arrogant to say this guy's the best, this guy's the best because so many guys have so many different assets that are phenomenal, you know.

What are you most excited about tonight as far as the film?

Um, I'm excited to see Tyson. I've always known him as a a real nice humble guy. So, seeing his life and how it unfolds.

Would you ever want to do a film about your life?

When I retire from my from my fight game, I mean there's a lot of interesting things that happen to me in my life.

What do you think one of your most memorable fights was over the years?

I think in 2000, I mean Oscar De La Hoya, percentage. Um, it was one of the biggest fights of that of that year and uh everybody loved it.

Speaking of Oscar, now his choice to retire, how do you feel about that yourself?

If he doesn't feel it anymore, if he doesn't have the hunger, they uh it's time to retire. I'm not too sure if he's going to be able to retire all the way. But um he sounds like he was really serious and he want to retire for family and everybody. But uh yeah, I don't know, he's he's still a great fighter in my eyes and uh I think he's still fight for more times but yeah, it's his decision.

How important is he to the world of boxing?

I think very important. I mean with the company of Golden Boy promotions, um we still have young fighters coming up in Golden Boy. I mean I think that he's uh the role model for a lot of fighters uh coming up.

Who were your top three picks of all time greatest fighters?

Sugar Ray Robinson and Sugar Ray Leonard. There's so many great picks.

What are we going to see next with you with your upcoming fights?

I expect to fight back here maybe Manny Pacquiao or or Ricky Hatton. And um give me the best fights out there. I just like to say, you know, I had all my fans out there check me out. I'm going to be looking to get that pound uh ranking again number one. I already had it before. I'm going to get it again.
